The below link tells you everything you need to know. 1. Go to the below site 2. Make a reservation for a day and time 3. Show up 4. Show you phone for the QR code to be scanned 5. Enjoy lights www.lakemetroparks.com/events-activities/events/country-lights-2020-2/ We went on a Tuesday night, and I made a reservation on the site about an hour before we got there. Everything was super easy and there was no line when we showed up for our 7pm time slot. Two small negatives: 1. The price at $27 bucks is a bit steep. I've got a place fairly close to me in Allentown, PA that's been doing a driving light display like this for years which is $10 less or I could go to the one at Hershey Park which would be more lights than here but is still technically cheaper. 2. In a sort of, it's not their fault category, the day prior it snowed and several of the displays weren't fully visible due to being some version of snow covered/snow obstructed. Overall this one is nice but small and before you know it, you're done. Is it worth it? For a Grinch like me, it's a waste of money, for someone who loves their Christmas, they might see this as a good investment.

Pretty fun park, we normally go during horse fest. Lots of stuff to do here, there are wagons that…read morego up and down the hill pulled by horses or tractors. Dog friendly because the paths are paved and are wide. There are 2 playgrounds total, one of them is on the top of the hill and the other is at the bottom. There are restrooms that are not the best but work. There are a few picnic tables most of them are covered. Lots of animals and lots of horses during horse fest. Overall I recommend going during horse fest. (My review from Google maps)

This business appears to be doing everything right in light of the Corona19 pandemic. Sadly, the restaurant was temporarily closed until things return to normal. The pumpkin patch, petting zoo, and corn maze are all OPEN for business. This year's theme for the maze is "Essential Workers!" Definitely check this place out if you are in the area .... Cheers!

Wooden Nickel is a great local place to find buffalo meat packaged and ready to go. You can see…read morethe buffalo grazing in the fields surrounding. Aside from stocking up on quality lean buffalo, this place is a great destination to bring the kids. There is a petting zoo and corn maze. The best time to come is probably late summer-fall. The gift shop is perfect for finding a trinket or two for the kids for the ride home. And when the corn maze is open the restaurant is also open. This is actually more of a "snack bar" type of place - a grill where you can order buffalo burgers or other kid friendly foods. If you are looking for a polished more diner-like establishment you won't find it here. Again, if you are in the area for with the kids, they will surely enjoy a burger and fries or snack after running through the maze. This is also more of the old-fashioned, well worn kind of non-decor location. Even so, I have fun enjoying a burger and stocking my freezer. Four stars for the buffalo meat alone (on the pricey side but excellent). If you took that away I would give 2 stars.

We were trying to find some kid friendly fall activities when we stumbled upon the Port Farms website. We took the (easy) 30 min drive to Waterford and it did not disappoint. We arrived around 11am, an hour after they opened. Plenty of guests were there but the parking area is very well organized and large. We had no issues parking close to the entrance and only waited around 2-3 minutes in line to pay for admission. While we were there my daughter had a blast. We went on the Wagon ride down the trail by the cornfields and she loved all the funny/creative scarecrows along the way. Another big hit was the climbing jungle gym area. She visited that area about 3 times while we were there. The bubble station seemed to be a huge hit with both kids and adults, as those bubbles they were creating were massive. I saw a few flying all the way above the parking lot. Very cool. There's plenty of activities for all ages and some extras with additional fees. We didn't try any of the extras but for a kid her age, what we did was perfect. We did also eat lunch there, over by the massive tire area that kids seemed to love for climbing. The giant pretzel was bigger than my head and my daughter loved her pizza. On our way out we stopped at the store and purchased some of the odd shaped gourds and beautiful little white and mult-colored mini pumpkins to take home. My daughter also had one of the apple cider slushies available within the gift shop at the bakery counter area. It was really good! Lovely fall trip - well worth the money for us to both have a great time while away from home. This is easily one of the best fall harvest type events that I've been to. We will be back next October!

We got there around 10:00 and the parking was really easy and they had an attendant that showed us where to go. I was able to bring my little wagon into the farm which made going around very easy. If you are a college student and have ID the price of admission is $10 and kids under two are free. So it's an affordable event to go to for as much stuff as they have inside. We immediately went to the corn pit and I had to take my daughter out of it kicking and screaming. The goats were also a big hit but I didn't have a quarter for her to feed them herself. Next time I'll know, bring quarters. She also had a great time in the little kids village where she sat in the rocks with the Tonka trucks and just had a grand time. The slides and the balls were also fun for her. I had to take her out of the basketball area because it was giving me a little bit of anxiety since she's so small. But she loved it. My favorite part was the fresh squeezed lemonade. Just to tell you it's all the way in the back towards the trampoline jumpers. But totally worth it even though I had to ask three people where to go. I even got one for the road. We ended the day buying a few mini pumpkins and a gallon of cider. Overall it was a great day and a great place to spend time with young kids.
