I can't believe I'm the first person to review Chef Eli. Simply put, he's amazing! He catered a…read moreclient event for me in Knoxville (40 ppl), and not only was the food outstanding, but his service and professionalism made him extremely easy to work with. He provided a selection of hors d'oeuvres and buffet-style mains, and helped with the wine selection, as well. He held a tasting as part of the menu selection process, highlights included bacon-wrapped figs with blue cheese, spring rolls, Thai curry, and enchiladas. Super nice and fun personality, he gave an overview of everything served at the event and offered to do a cooking demo, but the event didn't lend itself to this. Hopefully there's a next time, I can't recommend him highly enough!

My fiance and I spent a lot of time trying to find the "perfect" venue in Knoxville. After…read morecountless hours of researching and visiting, I saw The Julianna listed as a newer venue. My parents and I went to visit first because my fiance was out of town, but as soon as he returned, I told him we had to go see it together. The pictures do not do this venue justice; it is a hidden gem that has a great amount of elegance and charm. The main ceremony location is well shaded and was perfect for our June wedding. The accommodations for the bridal party (separate spaces for both the bridesmaids and groomsmen) was extremely comfortable for getting ready throughout the day. The reception spot is beautiful without decorations (which is a huge plus)! Sandy was great at finalizing the details and everything went smoothly before, during, and after the wedding. Also, it was so nice that the chairs, tables, linens, chargers, and even some other decorations were included in the pricing; that is hard to find. I cannot say enough good things about this venue and I highly recommend you paying The Julianna a visit because you will likely fall in love!

Super cute little cabin with a living room/kitchen table/coffee bar area. A bedroom that has a barn door to separate it from the living room. Nice spacious bathroom with a barn door. Rustic decor with stain glass. Microwave, refrigerator with small freezer and a coffee maker (regular coffee maker) with some coffee packets and tea bags. Little soaps, shampoos and a few granola bars that is just too cute. Lots of towels, lots of pillows. 4 on the bed and 2 extra. Nice fluffy extra blanket. I think the couch folds out to a bed because they had extra sheets as well. The only semi negative thing I could come up with is the mattress and bed fram is a little worn but with that said I slept all night. I would come back here. They are very responsive to any needs. TV in living room only. I slept well and I'm the morning while I putting my make up on I could hear a rooster crowing in the distance which just made the cute experience even better.

Upon arrival I was not impressed with the upkeep of the property at all. I asked the front desk staff if we stayed one night if it was possible to cancel the additional nights. He advised me that it may be a problem doing so because my rate was likely given because of the number of days I was staying (I have never heard of such a thing unless its a prepaid rate). The property has an overwhelming odor of mildew and even has a shop vac in the middle of the hallway, you can feel/hear/smell the water soaked into the hallway carpet. Once inside of our room we immediately noticed dirt/grit inside of the sink. I dismissed it thinking maybe housekeeping poured mop water into the sink. Later that evening we realized the sink was clogged and the dirt was from the plumbing backing up. The bathroom floors were dirty, I found what appeared to be pubic hair in my bed. My family and I travel frequently, this was by far the worse hotel we have ever stayed in. The hotel itself is in desperate need of TLC and appears to primarily cater to construction workers and extended stay guest. We will not be returning.
