DO NOT GO HERE. DO YOUR RESEARCH This has been the worst experience of my life. I'm kicked out of the program 3 1/2 weeks before graduation. I didn't get kicked out for my academic record. I got kicked out for being 15 mins late to a clinical site. The funny part is a student was late the same day, but got to stay and continue with her education. The even crazier part is a day before a few students were late, but the teacher never wrote them up, nor did they have to file an appeal. I'm the only one. Maybe I should have just stayed quiet and accepted their, but that's not how I roll. I've filed an investigation. They are going to investigate themselves, which means they will find themselves clear of any wrongdoing. Come on, asking a lying, low-down dishonest school to investigate themselves. They lie for a living. I've emailed President Yasith Weerasuriya, Vice President of Instruction Kelly Hamilton, Gary Lopez the Campus Director, Director of Students Services Alena (Alyona) Carrico, Andrea Awi Student Services Officer, and Jose Sotelo 3 times regarding the investigation, but they have not responded. Three days and no response. They stole my savings and my dream. Once the Interim Director Joey Abad and his buddy Clinical Director Kevin McCormick came on board the campus declined even further. It is the arrogance of Joey the Director for me. Joey hides in his office, and intentionally ignores students, he even hid behind the building when he saw me one day (who does that). He schedules appointments with students and he doesn't show up, or he cancels. You ask him for help and he continually refers to to ATI, or YouTube. This is his way of getting out of actually showing you or helping you. I really should paid YouTube for my education. I should send Nurse Sarah from Resisted NurseRN my tuition check. There is Absolutely, no accountability on the institution's part.- ZERO. Back to Joey. When I was in VNLAFT005 he had his favorites. The interim Director would hang with them and make fun of me and other students. This man has absolute no business talking about anyone, no one. I also heard that he was talking about me to other administrative staff. Trying taint my name even further! He would have flirty innuendos and banter with female students. The lack of professionalism between some of the teachers and students is startling and is not fair to students that don't operate that way or believe in this behavior. We pay our money to get an education, not to feed egos. Our new Clinical Director Kevin McCormick. He just looks happy to be there. He is a friend of Director Abad and he gets to do the least amount of work at the clinical sites. He doesn't take anything seriously. When he first started he was overly friendly with the ladies on campus. He makes jokes about everything. He sends clinical information late at night, the night before. People have families and need to organize their personal lives. There is no organization on this campus. it is a walking "shit-show". Why are these grown-ass men behaving this way? Have they heard of the Me-Too movement? Shame on the President of this University. I've read a review that Yasith is making salad's for the Irvine campus. We have never seen this man on the Alhambra campus. We would not be able to pick him out of in a line up. I guess he is making salads for the campus that makes him the most money. Shame on you Gary for pretending to be my friend. Trying to be relatable with me by using your race. Get a backbone. Get control of your campus. I've read reviews on-line at Indeed and employees are bashing the campus. They're informing about the inadequacies of your staffing and how it affects students. Shame on the Vice President Kelly Hamilton. You would think that women would support women in this day and age. These nurses are our future. I came to her with an issue and she said she would follow-up with me because she wants to be more involved and know what's going on at the Alhambra campus. Do you think I ever heard back from this lady? Absolutely, not. Where are the higher-ups at? Why aren't you helping students? How do you guys sleep at night? Do you have a conscience? Students come from all types of backgrounds. My heart goes out to those who come from economically challenged backgrounds and then they fall into the re-enrollment scam. Adding thousands onto their loans. Obviously, Gary the Campus Director at Alhambra doesn't care, and Yashith the President doesn't care. What is happening with my Investigation Yasith? 3 days no response! No one has confirmed receipt of my emails. All they would have to do is say we received your email. Money doesn't make a school or institution good. A school is not considered great because it thrives during the good times, it's considered GREAT when it continues to put their students first during challenging times while overcoming and excelling through those difficult times. read more

When I found myself at a crossroads in my life, unsure of which path to take, a good friend of mine encouraged me to consider Stanbridge and enroll in their Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program. Being in my thirties, with the responsibilities of family and work weighing heavily on me, it was undoubtedly challenging to prioritize my studies. Additionally, English being my second language and having no prior exposure to the healthcare industry, I knew that this program would be a demanding undertaking. However, I consider myself fortunate to have found guidance from my experienced seniors and to have connected with like-minded classmates who shared the same goals as me. Together, we formed a study group where we could support, supervise, and engage in fruitful discussions, propelling us all forward in our educational journey. As we bring the second term to a close, I am proud to share that we have successfully passed the tests of the first two terms, and we eagerly anticipate embarking on the third term as a united front. Before committing to Stanbridge, I conducted thorough research and meticulously compared it with other educational institutions. What stood out to me was Stanbridge's illustrious history and its commitment to excellence. The school boasts highly qualified teachers who possess a wealth of knowledge and expertise in their respective fields. Moreover, the institution's state-of-the-art equipment and resources create an optimal learning environment. This, coupled with Stanbridge's impressive annual graduation rate and NCLEX pass rate, affirmed my belief that studying at this institution would equip me with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the nursing profession. The worst nursing school on planet earth. The amount of unprofessionalism conducted at this school is unacceptable. They are extremely unorganized and hire staff that don't know what they are doing. The students have to study all the material on their own time and have to correct the teachers during lectures. The teachers here don't want to be here and put 0 effort in teaching. The school also does not have enough chairs so the students have to sit on the beds or stand during a 8 hour school day. I am a student here and I regret the choice of coming here. Im having a very difficult time learning because none of my teachers are teaching effectively. THE TEACHERS FALL ASLEEP IN CLASS AND ARE STUDYING FOR THEIR BOARD EXAMS DURING LECTURES. During my last exam my teacher picked up a phone call and started talking on the phone in another language. I requested her to either step outside or end the phone call because it was hard for me to concentrate. (I was sitting 4 feet away from her). She ignored my request and continued talking for another 10 minutes. Then I asked her if she can explain what I got wrong and she told me to google it because she was busy studying for her own exams. They just give us assignments and expect us to learn from those. They also always are changing your groups, clinical locations, classroom locations last minute. Their is a TV in the hallway with a list of the classes and their room number. 80% of the time the classroom location gets switched in the morning and I have to look everywhere to find my class. Then when you show up late because they changed the class location last minute, they mark you absent. I can go on and on about all the problems we all have had at this school. This school is a scam and they only want you to come and fail here so you have to re enroll and retake the classes so you spend more money. They are a fraud and all of my fellow classmates are very frustrated they started their programs at this University. They all regret the choice and would prefer to go somewhere else. PLEASE READ MY REVIEW AND TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION BEFORE ATTENDING THIS SCHOOL. TRUST ME IM DOING EVERYONE A FAVOR. You will be kickout of the program if you are 6 mins late. YUP! If you are 6 mins late you are sent home and marked as absent. They have a policy that does not allow you to be absent during a specialty rotation or to be absent more than twice for theory. Meaning that if you are late do lab or clinical you will be dismissed from the program and will have to pay that tuition again if you plan to retake the term. If you have read the other comments about the long wait to retake a class that is true. So now you have to wait, repay tuition, and waste your time all because they input this policy. AND NO, this does not apply to them. SSOs and administration, director and vice can be late and nothing happens. HYPOCRITES!! So please don't have an accident or an emergency because they do not care. There have been ppl who are in hospitals because of whatever their reasoning and they have dismissed them. They know that you will retake this term since you have already paid around 100k to them. And now you cant get more loans and you don't want to waste that money. Now lets talk about exams. They are done by the dean valdenor. Therefore what is in your exams is not what is cover during lecture. They syllabus will say that the connect is from previous lecture, lies. She always inputs things from next weeks lecture. We have told our professor how this is unfair. They always say that valdenor reasoning is because we should know it, even though we are going to school to learn it. She definitely wants us to fail. That can be the only reason as to why she would do such reason to why we would be testing on something we have not even heard of. We have fought this so much and her big ego will not allow students to be heard. We also pay hundreds of thousands of dollars and they cant even pay for our parking when going to clinicals, nor CPR or anything need to clinical rotations, you would think that would be covered in tuition since it $135-145K read more

Honestly, Stanbridge University (Alhambra campus) is a 10/10 experience for me. The professors are not only brilliant in their fields, but they're also genuinely invested in my cohort's success. I am in the AVN program. Among all the VN programs I have checked out, Stanbridge is the best. The school is like my second home now because I knew from the beginning the program is not going to be easy. First I learned no health no studies. I pay attention to my diet and exercise. Second I work and study not only by myself but with a small group of my classmates on zoom and in person. We can stay at the school to study any time in any empty classrooms. I think we as students need to be serious with the studies. The program provides good resources and teachers mostly are very helpful because they have been where we are now before to give us tips when we ask for advise. Financial aid and student services assist me too when I ask for help'. I was so glad my admission talked me out of applying to the BSN and encouraged me to take a baby step toward nursing because even though I has some bad side experience I have to put a lot of effort to get to where I am now. All staff members are very helpful especially Dina. She is the best! I also appreciate and respect my instructors for they did the best they can to nurture us. After a prolonged time away from academic pursuits, I made the decision to transition to a new career later in life. Balancing work and studies was initially challenging for me, as I am a part-time student who works full-time during the day and attends classes at night. However, I soon realized that most of the learning is asynchronous or self-directed, and that class lectures mainly serve as a guide. Therefore, I concluded that the hands-on skills labs and clinicals offer the most valuable learning opportunities. Feeling confident in my studies, I requested to transfer to a different cohort for a higher degree. However, rather than encouraging me to start a new program and pay more fees, the institution advised me to continue with my current cohort, as I was already halfway through the program. I appreciated their thoughtful approach. I heard about Stanbridge from my friend. After I requested more information, Ms. Dina contacted me immediately. What made me feel very amiable is that she could speak Mandarin. She explained the program information to me in detail and patiently guided me what I need to do next. She also gave me review materials for the entrance exams and showed me around the school after the exams. She was very considerate of students and worried that I might have a language barrier as a Chinese student. She always helped and encouraged me as much as she could. What makes me satisfied about Stanbridge is that their courses are all small size, which allows students to get more attention. All lectures are recorded so that students can review the lectures repeatedly. This is a written review for the application process for the MSOT Alhambra location: Applying to grad-school can be as stressful as it is nerve wrecking. The checklist is very intricate and there is little room for mistakes without it costing you a spot in an OT school. Through it all, my representative was extremely helpful and got back to me in a timely manner. Although OTCAS organizes most of your needs, Richard Kim ensured that my application was completed correctly and received from Stanbridge's end. He helped motivate me with a small pep-talk before my interview and was never hesitant to call if there was anything I was missing. Im in the RNBSN Program through stanbridge Alhambra campus. My admission representative Eva was truly amazing and a life saver. Staring nursing school especially as an older adult (27) is super intimidating. One day I was just fed up with waiting and gave standbridge a call and I was fortunate enough to get Eva to help me through my entire journey. I called on a Friday she got me in for testing that Monday and a week later I was doing interviews then I was in. She was super helpful and on top of my education goal with me. Stanbridge is lucky to have someone has hardworking and dedicated as she is. I'm on my second term in my program and it is going great. The teachers are very helpful even with distant learning. I would recommend this school to anyone trying to fast track their schooling and get it done the right way. read more

I am having a really bad experience at this school. We have changed instructors about six times our theory instructor only goes through half of the lecture and doesn't finish the slides and expect us to take the exam without even going through the whole lecture. More than half of the class is failing and all they could say is we offer Tutoring and say do you have to do your part also and studying. Our clinicals at the campus are very unorganized and the dummies we have are not even functional. The staff doesn't wear gloves and no social distancing is done. You have an app you download on your phone to do your own check up before you go into campus And a temperature check mounted on the wall which is very inaccurate. read more
