Stan did work for me when my house caught fire after the contractor the insurance company recommended quit the job. Stan and his associates were excellent and did an amazing job in a bedroom, hallway and bathroom. The work was quality and the price was very reasonable. Stan and his team just finished a large project for us that included the bathroom, dining, mud, and laundry rooms. It was a lot of things to get done and as the project progressed the scope changed several times due to the age of the house, my mind changing, and excellent suggestions from Stan and Co. I called 4 days in a row. I live within walking distance. After leaving a disappointing review, I finally got a call and made an appointment. He was the most arrogant man I have ever dealt with under any circumstances!!! To screw 2 hoses onto a washer, he wanted $100.00 for 15 minutes!!! He bragged about how many calls HE DOESNT BOTHER TO RETURN... Luckily, I was contacted by a genuine person who came 2 days in a row. I had to force him to take $20.00!!! Stan called me back within a few hours which was acceptable. He came across very dry and unmotivated in conversation. He did not seem as if wanted to fix a roof leak 8 minutes from his business, but did offer to look at it in a week, as he was going out of town. I tried to hear him out and politely get off the phone. I mentioned twice during phone conversation that maybe I should just get a roofer to look at it instead. The second time I said this, I thanked him for calling me which was when he rudely said, "Good luck and thank you" before hanging up on me. His rudeness prompted me to write this review. read more

Really disappointed. Stan gave us an estimate on repairing a playset for a big party at our house. The day he came to do the work, he fiddled with it for a few minutes then said it was harder than he thought. He packed up and left. He wasted our time and now the playset won't be fixed in time for the party. read more

Pretty good job. I called during the holidays so the response was not immediate, understandably. I needed a few shingles replaced, that had blown off my roof over a year or so. When he called back on a Sunday, he looked at my house on Google maps and said he could do the job the very next day. When I got home from work on Monday, the roof was fixed and a bill was left for me to mail a check. The cost was reasonable. I will call again if I have more handyman needs. read more
