I am a tenant and I was served an eviction notice executed by Pappas & Pappas…read more 1) My name was spelled incorrectly on all paperwork. 2) When I appeared in court and asked the clerk for an extension, a later date was negotiated with the P&P attorney, the clerk, and myself. However, within days, P&P completely ignored that court negotiation and issued a NEW eviction notice with a completely different date and different Index Number! No explanation whatsoever. They did not communicate with the landlord (their client) what took place in court and now the landlord does not believe/is unaware of the negotiated date and claims the only court date is the one created solely by P&P. Let me say that again: Pappas & Pappas ignored the negotiated date made with the court, failed to communicate to their client, and issued a second court date to me, the tenant, with no explanation. This move is clearly an attempt to undermine the legal system and cause confusion, frustration, and burden to the tenant. Please be aware of this ethically compromised business.

Without giving too many details, suffice it to say that without their consistently clear communication, organization, and professionalism, our home buying experience would have been extended much longer (given how poor the seller's lawyers were in getting ANY of the things that they were required to do). To say they went ABOVE and BEYOND what should be expected for a lawyer is a significant understatement.
