I'm going to be 100% real - They did NOT get my color correct…read more I went in there looking for recommendations. I had the valve cover, the intake manifold, and exhaust manifold shield. All 3 pieces, requesting the valve cover painted GREEN and the intake AND exhaust painted SILVER VEIN. They called me and quoted too much for my budget for all 3 pieces. So I said, "forget the other pieces, just paint the valve cover silver vein". (See attached text screenshot for proof). I wanted that "Silver Vein" man! It looked CLEANNN on the sample!! You could guess how surprised I was when I showed up a couple of weeks later to find the single valve cover painted green. My first reaction was a little upset. I was expecting a Silver Vein valve cover and I'm picking up a green valve cover. I was confused and upset at first. I then realized where their team made the mistake. They didn't realize that I wanted Silver Vein regardless of what I got painted; they didn't realize that by removing the intake and exhaust manifold shield, I wanted the valve cover changed to Silver Vein, they must have overlooked it over the text and call? I later settled with the Green valve cover. It didn't look as clean with the Silver Vein accents that I originally requested, but it looked alright on its own. I'm hoping that AIC Powder Coating can see my review and acknowledge that I wasn't provided with the service that I requested. I'm hoping that AIC Powder Coating can provide me with a credit towards a future service since my request was not met as requested. I currently have a Green valve cover that was supposed to be Silver Vein. Maybe I can have a credit in the future for something similar to be painted? Thank you AIC Powder Coating!

Turn around time was fast and reasonable as well. However, because of the design of my roll bar, there is an inside portion of a cutout that I remember telling Gloria should be powder coated. When I found out this part wasn't coated and brought up this issue to Gloria, she didn't have much care to resolve the issue nor offer a halfway solution to fix it. She just simply stated that she didn't recall me pointing it out, and that's it. So overall, I'm some-what happy with the job. The most important part of the job is the exterior of the rollbar, and that got coated came out beautiful. Just disappointed and turned off by the lack in customer service when an issue arise.

You make a potential customer wait 3 full days for a response, then hit them with an impossible 15-minute ultimatum during peak traffic hours? That's not customer service; that's pure arrogance. They used the $50 deposit to lose a customer instead of giving time or more options to pay since I waited 3 full days to even be contacted. You don't build long-term value by treating people like this. You make your money from repeat business and referrals, not one rushed sale that alienates everyone. All this did was guarantee I'll never come back and actively pushed me straight to your competitor, which turned out to be a way better experience. He was responsive, professional, no pressure tactics. All anyone has to do is look on Yelp: the guy who is second with 718 five-star reviews is the one to go to. There's a reason you multiple accounts with reviews: the inconsistency shows. One bad interaction like this costs you a customer forever and now a negative review that future people will see. How you treat people matters just as much as (if not more than) the product or service. This experience screamed "we don't value you until you pay," and it backfired spectacularly. If I'm doing a service at Toyota and ask for proof of the old car part on the work order, it's unlikely they'll save the removed piece. At Impex Motorsports, Harry saved the removed parts without my request. Harry and Ken demonstrate integrity and honesty which are the reasons I keep coming back.
