I would not recommend this garage!!
Within a month of buying my car, the engine warning light came on. I brought it to the garage that they work with they said it was a sticking valve, they had to take the engine apart and the work would cost £400. Initially stalybridge motors said they would not pay for all the repairs. The car was still under warrenty, however, after I had many phonecalls and arguments with the garage and talks with trading standards, they eventually agreed to pay for the work. Due to many calls and negotiation it took weeks for me to get my car sorted. I had to continuously phone them.
When I was looking at the car online it had the cars own brand hubcaps, however, when I picked my car up, they were replaced with a cheaper plain version. When I asked why this was, the salesman struggled and then said they were stolen!! I asked for a replacement set and he agreed to replace them , again every time I rang they apparantly had none in stock(even though when I checked their website, they have had the same models with the proper hubcaps) A year later and I am still waiting on the hubcaps
The salesman made promises he did not keep.
I also had to get my brakes replaced very soon after I bought the car.( 94% worn).
I have had so much bother and headache with this garage. I would not recommend them anyone. I wish I had of read reviews before I visited the garage- I have learnt my lesson the hard way.
In my opinion the customer service is appalling. I am only giving it one star because I have to give it something in order to publish my review. read more
