I'm so accustomed to waiting 2 hours to be seen and have my taxes done, but this time even with my interest income, student loan interest payments, moving expenses, NY state and Iowa State filing, she did out married filing jointly taxes in about 20-30 minutes. The fee is really reasonably considering the complexity, accuracy, and timeliness. I recommend calling in advance and scheduling an appointment to meet with her to prepare your taxes. Ann herself is really nice, welcoming and I highly recommend her. She is fully licensed CPA and professional. I'm always on the look out for a great tax preparer and avoid the big chains whenever possible because those types tend to hire seasonal tax preparers who don't have CPA licenses.

I live in Texas, but own property in Iowa, so I was looking for someone in the DsM area. I was apprehensive about handing over my financial information (and tax liability) to a stranger, but Steve is everything you want in an accountant. Smart, funny, prompt, competent. I asked a bunch of (ignorant and useless) questions and Steve had an answer for each one. He and his firm are extremely reasonably priced and likely found WAY more deductions in my taxes than the fee he charged--so I'm sure I came out ahead. He ALSO likely kept me out of trouble with the IRS given the complicated tax situation we were facing this year. Taxes? No fun. But working with Steve makes taxes a lot less horrible.
