If you are dreaming up a home improvement project, we couldn't be happier to recommend Go West Home Repairs and Renovations. John, Holly, and their crew are a top-notch team with a sincere client-first approach rarely found anymore. Working with the Wests was like working with people we'd known our whole lives, even just a few minutes in because they are invested in your vision. For us, this looked like them taking their time to get it all just right (even when time began running short they didn't rush), cheerfully taking on new challenges with a material they hadn't worked with before, patiently and transparently collaborating with us when plans needed to change throughout (for example: when they showed up on day one and realized the fireplace insert we had was very different from those they'd installed in the past and would require an entire additional component be added during framing to house it), and providing clear and fair estimates. Holly is a warm, vibrant point of contact who checked in with and reassured us from the moment we contacted Go West through every day of the actual build, making their dedication to exceptional customer service clear. John is a skilled tradesman whose work speaks for itself; He's clearly knowledgeable and experienced and tackles his projects with an eye for detail any client will appreciate. The Go West crew on our project was Joe and Josh and they were a delight to have in our home for the week: friendly, hard-working, and above-and-beyond every single day (they even brought in my groceries for me!). In fact, they were such a sunny presence in our home that our toddler actually pouted on Saturday morning when work paused for the (well-deserved) weekend and she realized they weren't working downstairs.

We needed to get their house cleaned up to go on the market as well as get them packed to move in with us. Boy, Tina had her work cut out for her with this project. They'd lived in that home for 25 years and brought everything down from the prior home of 40 years. They had so much stuff. Their generation did not throw out anything. Tina decluttered, packed boxes and she even brought items to GoodWill. She was nothing sort of a miracle worker. My mom loved her.
