We had a great experience with Monica and her business. We had our new manufactured home for sale for 2 months... Then thought we might try staging it. We called Monica, she was able to come out in a few days, set up staging on that Friday, The house sold on that Sunday Morning. Her vision was all it needed. She made that house a home and the Buyers fell in love at first sight. Isn't that what it's all about? She was very flexible in picking up the furniture just before escrow closed. Monica has a great open personality and has great ideas that she shares, welcoming any comments and questions. We will definitely use her company again! We won't wait next time. Thank you Monica and Staged House Designs!! read more

She did our house at 7206 Thorndale drive in Oakland, the video by Blue Skye is up and it is amazing what she accomplished, and very affordably. If she isn't out of business I hope she updates this listing! I've tried to send several people her way, but they haven't been able to reach her. All items were newish and of high quality. She has a clear vision be Doesn't want to be second guessed but the outcome was tremendous overall. read more

We needed to have a last-minute staging on a home that we were selling and they came through for us quickly. The design was immaculate and the pieces were of quality and extremely clean. Prior to staging our home it did not sell for a few weeks, after we had the staging done it sold within a few days. I highly recommend this company, you won't be disappointed! read more

Staged House Designs - Living room/kitchen - Home Staging Near Me

Current times are truly testing the humanity and agility of everybody around us.. especially in the real estate business when things are so certain. Let me tell you.. Monica proves herself to be not only the best stager but also the best human. Bravo to get positive attitude and helping nature.. Well my story started when we decided to put our house in the market for sale without knowing COVID is going to hit us all this badly. We signed the contract with a full service listing agent expecting they will take care of things from here.. little we knew the hell broke lose on us. Big shot listing company and their big shot furniture warehouse is closed for SIP. I asked the agent to find somebody else who has their own furniture And the answer was no, with not an effort to find somebody (lucky me).. anyhow I started searching and we found people ready to stage but they just wanted money with no assurance on what type of furniture they are going to put in (crazy isn't it).... after calling at least 15 stagers I spoke to Monica and she immediately put me at ease.. truthfully just hearing it from her that "don't worry, I got you" melted half of my stress. She came to my house next morning completely covered with PPE so still don't know what She looks like.. and like an angel looked at everything and shared her vision with me like an artist.. she not only understood my S***y situation But also offered me help given the environment. She did a fantastic job staging my property and delivered on her promise "I will make it look pretty".. I am lucky to find her and grateful that she picked up the phone that night.. I highly recommend her to anybody who is in need of a professional who is passionate, kind and flexible !! Thank you Monica, the balance of the world is maintained because of the people like you.. keep spreading your goodness ! read more

Great Service! Can't wait to use it again. Earlier this year, I got a recommendation to use Monica from my broker. Monica provided the perfect blend of individualized service without having to meet in person . Monica not only helped us stage property but also guided us with the trends and styles to be considered based on property and location. It was very challenging this time around because of the property layout. Monica had beautiful design ideas and was prompt to act on any preferences I suggested. Would highly recommend this service. read more

Monica did an amazing job on our home. We hired staged houze to stage our home after our relator failed to do the job himself. I wish we had hired her on the first day our home became vacant. She was so fast with responding to me and meeting me so she could look over our home and give us a quote. I am so pleased with everything she choose to put into the house. She also went above and beyond to get the house staged quickly. I would recommend staged houze to anyone needing a a beautifully staged home. read more

We hired Monica to stage a couple of our houses before they went on the market and we were just super impressed with Monica's staging talents. She is simply the best! read more

Monica came through for our family when we needed staging services on super short notice. She replied quickly, scheduled an in-home appointment, arrived on time, gave a quote quickly, and had great/reasonable pricing. She was open to our own staging ideas/options, but in the end we trusted her original plan and have no regrets. When our small condo was staged, the movers were careful to not ding any tight corners or walls, and worked quickly. Monica's design and decor really made our plain unit seem so much more updated, warm and inviting. Before, we were on the fence as to whether or not staging such a small place would be worth it, especially in a housing market environment that favors sellers anyway.. but we are so glad we found Monica and think staging was definitely worth the cost! read more

I had an extremely negative experience with Monica. It was the complete opposite of the great reviews I saw on yelp. It started off good but when it came time to destage the house it took a really bad turn. She told me she needed 5 days notice which I was ok with. I asked for confirmation and she said in text that it would be done by Tuesday. In the meantime I scheduled movers on my own to come on Wednesday to move the items that were mine. On Wednesday while we were almost at the house I received a text from her saying she lost my address. Obviously she had not cleared her stuff on Tuesday as promised. When we arrived to the house her movers had not shown up yet so I asked her if she can clear her sheets off my two beds so my movers can start disassembling them. I saw her throw her sheets down from upstairs where they landed right on the stairs. I moved them aside so they weren't in the way. A short while later she comes accusing us of landing a foot print on the sheets. That is when I told her that first she should have cleared the house the day before as promised so we would not be getting in each other's way. She never apologized nor took ownership of what she promised. She then started claiming how she wants to charge me more now because the job was more difficult than she thought. I told her she has already been paid in full for what she quoted in writing. Things quickly escalated to the point where she said she was gonna call the police and accused me of being rude because she was a woman! I finally told her to just finish her job and leave ASAP. Later I get a phone call from my agent that she had called title company and claiming a lien for $1300 in unpaid fees. I have her quote on paper and also the copy of the cashiers check showing payment in full. She had placed the closing of my house in jeopardy without any regard for common business practices. If she believes the job warranted a higher fee she should have at least discussed it and gotten my agreement. She did not bring it up until the moment I called her out for not fulfilling her promise. Selling a house and relocating is already a stressful process. Instead of helping reduce the stress she is adding a great deal to it and putting the sale of my house at risk. I would have still been ok if she just not made an issue with the foot print on the sheets. The irony is I was planning to give her a good review up until today. What a shame. read more
