We called Fred and he suggested we drop in and charge up our battery before continuing on to Kennewick for a scheduled RV service appointment. Fred personally installed a new glass battery and we rigged up a connection from our generator to a trickle charger connected the new battery. We got to our appointment in good time to install a new alternator and the guys in Kennewick out the door by 5:00! Without Fred's help I might still be waiting an alternator until Monday! I was fortunate to meet the owners at the Elks lodge as I was passing through here in Baker City…read more In conversation I mentioned that I was looking for someone to assist with a tangled winch line, which I thought would require removing the bumper in order to remove the Warn winch in order to remove the winch cover in order to de-tangle the line. *whew* The gentlemen said he might be able to just pull the knot out with his ATV without all that labor and invited me to stop by. It was after 5:00PM, he and his wife hooked my synth line to an ATV and VOILA, pulled the winch line all of the way out for me and saved me so much grief, and obviously some $. I'm grateful to them both. They're genuinely nice folks building this business. It was a pleasure talking to him at the Elks and I can tell he's extremely knowledgeable about all things related to ATV/UTV, service, repair, winching, rope, recovery, rescue, tackle etc. He also had a nifty aluminum snatch ring/soft shackle rated for a rig as big as mine, and I bought one. In a Sprinter van. (Benz) We were offroading near Baker…read moreCity, OR and the check coolant level came on. We topped up the coolant and the light went off. Briefly. This happened every 7-10 miles. We called one shop and they said we'd have to wait two weeks. They recommended that we check with Hills We limped into Hills. Doug helped us out. He found the cut in our coolant line quickly, replaced the hose and added a chafe guard where the hose had gotten cut by an engine component. And he thoroughly evaluated the cooling system before he let us go. I highly recommend this shop. Really nice folks and very reasonable repair costs, especially considering what we would have paid to a Mercedes shop.
