Now the grocery is a Bash's with normal hours, so if you live in Morenci there is probably no need to use the Conoco mini-mart. For those of us passing through...it's a godsend. The women's restroom is always relatively clean, probably because they keep it locked (but not the men's. talk about unfair!). The cashiers without fail know when women are looking for the key and so they hand it over quickly. Along with the typical selection of mini-mart packaged snacks, coffee, sodas and beers, they also have a fried bar. At least that's what I call it - it's a selection of deep-fried items kept under heat lamps. Disgusting you say? In a big city yes, but when your only other options are a couple mediocre sit-down diners and you want to get on the road for the 4 hour drive back to Phoenix ASAP, a heat-lamped corn dog can be oddly appealing. Everything is relative. Navigate the parking/fuel areas carefully, it's very busy.

Electronic fuel pumps. There is a staggering variety of sheer stuff there. It makes Petro, Pilot, Loves, all look like the cookie cutter places they are. Add a Dollar General, a hardware store, small grocery, liquor store, there is just a ton of stuff. It's not amazingly cheap. It's probably servicing a wide geography with stuff that isn't available for miles and miles and miles. Fuel is what most will come for. The cost at our visit was reasonable, and by no means the cheapest on I-10. It's almost a landmark. And the restrooms were amazing and clean and hard to find.

Definitely. This place is a wide assortment of oddities crammed into one place. Part grocery store, part Ace Hardware. This time, the owner told me the restroom was closed for the night. I explained that I really needed to go, but she simply looked at me and told me to use the bar next door or go to a park a couple of blocks away. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it and ended up having an accident. What makes this even more disappointing is that I wasn't just asking to use the restroom without being a customer. I had just spent $20 on gas and was planning to buy items from the store as well. If I had known they wouldn't allow paying customers to use the restroom, I would have gone somewhere else to fuel up. I understand businesses can have policies, but showing a little compassion in an urgent situation would have made all the difference. This was one of the most embarrassing customer service experiences I've ever had, and unfortunately I won't be returning.

The food items are horribly overpriced, which sucks if you're traveling cross country because you lack time to go out properly. Melissa the cashier is nice. She was the highlight of my visit, asking if I have the rewards program and how I'm doing. Nice sized parking lot with working pumps. That aside, I hope I never come back.
