We checked in on a Tuesday, which is a day they're mostly closed, so our check in process was a bit more awkward than it would have been otherwise. Overall it was a nice place to spend the night. It seemed like a lot of people had been leaving their trash behind in the fire pits rather than using the dumpster, which was pretty sad, and is probably difficult for the owners to keep up on. We stayed at a pristine campground last night where we were handed a garbage bag at check in, so I wanted to pass along the idea!

And she told me the camp spot was on the river front. We'll it was not what I imagined. It was around 50 yards away. You could not see the river from the camp site. We walked to it and their was brush on edge of the river and an 8' drop to the water. We had to walk around 100 to150 yards to find a spot to swim or fish. Water was pretty shallow. We did find a couple of holes to get wet and cool off. This was lot 63. For the price I paid, it should have been much better. I will not be going back.

Needless to say, we won't be returning, and I'll definitely be warning others to stay far away from this dump of a site. #zerostars

The bedding and towels are so nice and soft and smell good, I was worried everything would be musty. The tents are darling. The owner Charles is extremely kind and helpful. Miss Connie was extremely kind and helpful. I do wish there were bathrooms a little closer because walking there in the middle of the night by yourself would not be smart but you are camping. Would highly recommend. We did Devil's Kitchen hike which was a 5 minute drive away and loved it. Highly recommend the whole experience!

The communal restrooms are very clean, lock from the inside and have showers available. The main office has a general store that contains everything you could need that you may forget, including bug spray, toothbrushes, fire starters and s'mores kits. It also has beverages and snacks available for purchase, including Sweet Tea, Lemonade, sodas, ice cream, chips and more. My husband and I rented the Camper, and it was equipped with AC/Heat, Bluetooth speakers (indoor and out), a gas stove, oven, fridge, bathroom with shower, 2 twin size bunk beds, and 1 queen bed. All linens and towels were provided as well. The entire campsite was charming and the owner is incredible kind. Charles and Mariah will bend over backwards to make sure you have an incredible stay. Can't recommend this place enough and can't wait to go back!!
