You can smoke on site, which is getting rare these days. Bar & staff: Nothing short of outstanding. Friendly, chatty (if you want that) and make the best Old Fashioned I've ever had. 3 different bartenders, 3 old fashioneds, all amazing. I told them they need to have a "mix off" for bragging rights. They're considering it. If Old Fashioned isn't for you, very wide selection of top shelf liquor, wine, and beer. Wanna play "Stump the Bartender"? I dare you. They'll know how to make it. Atmosphere: Lots of locals and a few visitors like me. Very welcoming. Told me a lot about the city and made me feel welcome. Definitely not a snooty "you're not from here," vibe. They welcomed me as one of their own. Not a sports bar, per se, but the games were on the one TV, which is fine with me. No kitchen on site. If you need food before your liquor, eat beforehand. Bottom line: My go to place in OKC. Let me set the downtown scene for you guys! Me and the boys were rolling around in deep deuce on some scooters having a great day. I seen a sign outside a stag that said happy hour. Instantly we stopped in and were greeted by, Monica and Tay!!! and let me tell you they were so welcoming we came to sit at the bar for a couple old-fashioned! Next thing you know, we were eating appetizers and having a few more drinks accompanied by everybody's good vibes and spirit. 10 out of 10 you guys this is what customer service is supposed to be. I used to come here when I lived in Oklahoma City and it was one of the first places that I had ever smoked cigars so I would credit this place as one of the spots that changed my life as it relates to my hobby of smoking cigars. I brought my wife and cousin here and they loved the drink prices. Plus it was an easy walk from our hotel which was super helpful. If I'm ever there during the week I'm going to for sure try out the food specials that they offer because it seemed like they offer pretty great options. The ambiance is a 12/10. OKC! A relaxing night in you alls city I located Stag's Lounge. There humidor wasn't as furnished as I wished; Not too much to choose from. The dude Kennedy has a bitter, sweet approach but, firm within business. The bar seamed well organized and the kitchen was closed. There menu has a few decent options that maybe eye grabbing and delicious. Overall it was a start. 1/14/25 the lady working at the bar answered the phone and told me the kitchen closed at 10:00pm. I arrive at 946pm and she now has a dumb look on her face saying I do last call at 9:45. I was staying at a hotel around the corner. I walked over for a quick cocktail. To my surprise, I was immediately met with the smell of cigars. As it turns out, this place had a huge walk in humidifier and you are allowed to smoke even at the bar. Immediately fell in love with the ambiance and vibe. I ordered my usual, an ole fashioned. Sadly, this is the only reason this place doesn't get 5 solid stars. They used store bought bitters and some type of weird sweetener. They didn't smoke the cocktail either. In a place such as this they should be using smoke, house made bitters and better cherries. Loved the place just really let down on cocktail execution. We came by on a rare snow day in Oklahoma and while so many places were closed for business that day we were pleasantly surprised Stag was open. The smoke selection was pretty great. Partner had Blanton's on a rock and I asked for Pinot Grigio which they didn't have. I know it's probably an establishment more geared towards men, however, they are gonna bring their ladies along so a good wine selection would be wise. Pinot Grigio is less sugar-y than a Chardonnay (sugar = sicky wine headache for me) anyway I think I made do with a Chardonnay. The music was good and their was plenty of space for people to be apart. We only had a single drink since I didn't wanna drink too much Chardonnay but we did have a smoke and it was nice. First off if you love a cool place to go have a cocktail that's local in the neighborhood and close enough for you to drive to, this place covers all those bases. Then add a huge selection of cigars, and a ton of places to sit and enjoy a stick and a cocktail. They have a ton of bourbon and whiskey's which was right up my alley and what I really liked was the place was well ventilated so you did not walk in and get smashed by a cigar smoke, so think about bringing others that maybe aren't cigar smokers and they also could hang with you and have a great time. Super great people the staff behind the bar the people sitting around hanging out have a good time. I met one gentleman his name was Elvis and we chatted for 30 minutes about him and Elvis and my relationship with the king of rock 'n' roll and just had a great time.
