My husband and I needed help regarding a personal matter that was very upsetting to us. My husband called this office on a Monday. We were greeted with an answering machine stating to give them 3 business days to call back. By Wed, we hadn't received a call back so we left another message. A secretary called back and said "I don't think the therapist has any after school appointments, but I'll check". She never called us back and it is now Thursday. I have never felt so alone and desperate. I felt like we were "putting them out" and that they didn't care at all. The customer service was horrendous. I am notifying the school not to recommend them. They made me feel so much worse during this crisis, at a time when I was desperate to reach out to a professional.

I've taken the same medication for 20 years and have never had a problem like i do with this office! You must fax them info (as they do not use email) or you have to drive to Worcester to give them paperwork because they say they have no receptionist in Westborough. Also, they badger you to have the office visits on a autopay credit card; which is awful (as my health benefits card ran low on money at the end of the year and they charge you decline fee even when you tell them NOT to use that CC info!). Go elsewhere unless you are desperate.

I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep. I've seen such drastic improvements that I genuinely feel like I have a new baseline. I feel so much more in control of my anxiety now and honestly like a completely different person than I was just a few months ago. It's been truly life changing. I honestly wish I could see her weekly. The closest way I can describe how you feel leaving a session is like you just had a massage; you're so relaxed, grounded, and at ease. Marisa has truly touched my life. She is genuinely an angel. She listens, she cares deeply, and she is incredibly dedicated to her clients. If she doesn't have an answer right away, she always follows up, whether by email or the next time you see her, which says so much about the level of thought and attention she gives. I don't feel comfortable around many people, but there's something about her energy that is so light and reassuring. She creates such a safe, welcoming environment, and it makes all the difference.
