Why they would cover up the windows upstairs in favor of flickering fluorescent lighting is beyond me. And I'm no fluorophobe - I use them at work and home. But the ones at Stadtkind were obviously installed by someone incompetent.
Apparently, at about 5:30pm (not sure whether they do this every day), party time starts, the lights are turned down and the music is turned up a bit, so if you plan on doing some sort of work, this may not be the appropriate place.
There are only a few benches with leather upholstery, the rest of the seats doesn't look particularly comfy.
Finally, the faucets in the bathroom are of poor quality and loose.
The rest is up to one's taste, I guess. The overall design (Aside from the menus - font with serifs for a place that seems to be all about minimalism otherwise) IS pretty great and the staff IS very friendly. So my average rating is based on the occasionally obvious poor quality of things and relatively low level of comfort. read more
