Mark the owner/manager emphasizes how much he does not want to be late, yet was 45 mins+ late to pick up a family member and still hadn't arrived. Didn't communicate at all about being late and then threatened to charge while it was his fault. Unprofessional, unacceptable, hypocritical. Just called in a complaint to the "manager" stated the "oh well my driver's drive 12 hrs and you don't understand what they go through all of my drivers have 2 points or less" for context the driver in question ran a red light turning right in front of me while I had a green light, he did this while I'm going 40mph with about 2 car lengths in front of me forcing me to slam on the brakes with kid In the car. It's ridiculous that the "manager" automatically makes an excuse and starts being defensive and doesn't even take the complaint just brushing it off like it's nothing, the guy almost caused an accident and it's okay in the managers eyes. Driver couldn't find my house (a very unremarkable normal street address) and didn't use google maps to find it. Huh? What year is it? He called me and it took about 5 minutes to explain how to get to a house on the same street he was on. After I got in the car, he set up his phone on the dashboard and watched a loud sports show while driving. Missed the turn for the Delta terminal at DTW, which is pretty hard to do, had to go around again. Pretty bad but I suppose it could be worse. read more

Took this taxi to the airport and from airport home when we took a long trip overseas to visit family. On the way to the airport the guy was about 25 minutes late, but we had factored lateness into our travel time and were OK. On the way back, the driver was on time and his van was much nicer than the first guy. The price can't be beat. I see taxis from this service all the time in downtown Ann Arbor, especially on party nights. Definitely good for party trips, but if you choose to use them for airport service make sure to ask for the newer van. If it isn't available or isn't a guarantee, think twice about using this service. read more

Erratic and dirty. Not recommended. "Then why two stars?" you might ask. Because they were on time, pretty much, and when you're going to the airport, that's kind of important. I've used this service (twice as a last resort), and they came through with an available taxi when my alternative ride bailed. They also go really fast on the highway to the airport. I'm a more cautious driver personally, but when you're in a hurry to the airport, a fast driver is hard to beat. Other than that, though, I'm not impressed. The dispatcher was brusque almost to the point of rudeness. This is the public face of the organization, and it's rude. Not very encouraging. Stadium Taxi drivers must smoke. A lot. Each of the taxis I've taken has stunk of cigarette smoke. I don't smoke, and I don't like smelling like cigarettes after a taxi ride. The taxis are dirty. There are food and drink containers all over the place. I realize that drivers eat in their cars (no problem there), but they should clean up after themselves. No one likes to sit in someone else's Happy Meal, no double entendre intended. Personally, I don't like it when taxi drivers pull up outside my house and lay on the horn. I don't think my neighbors like it either. You have my cell phone. Call me. And finally, two out of three times, the credit card reader didn't work. Fortunately I had enough cash on me each time to cover the fare, but credit cards provide legible receipts. Many Stadium Taxi drivers do not. Stadium Taxi is in my contact list with the note "Use only as last resort." I think that says it all. read more

We booked a taxi to and from the airport. The office and the driver were both excellent communicators, and the driver came extra early to pick us up without any pressure for us to hurry. I wish the car hadn't smelled like detergent, but that was better than cigarettes. I would book them again! read more

Worst cab driver in so many ways. Didn't help at all with our luggage, left us waiting in the cab for 10 min, used his phone while driving, and opened the window even though it was winter. Also the window was broken so cold air would come in through the open flap. read more

Unpleasant experience. Was quoted $39 for my trip from AA to DTW. At airport, Driver demanded $44 because of "bad weather" and said the extra fee was described on their site. Since I'd only been able to see their site on my phone I did not see this. This was in Michigan in February, with a fairly light sleeting snow. Those are average, usual conditions in Michigan at this time. Driver also launched into a recitation all the other times they charge extra, such as U of M student breaks. I am gray-haired and clearly not a student, and I don't see how this was relevant. I handed him $50 and he handed me back change. It wasn't until later that I noticed he'd only given me a $5, and not the $6 I was owed. Would not choose this "service" again. read more

I would seriously give zero stars if I could. The worst Taxi company ever. The drivers are very rude and disrespectful. I used them twice and both times they were super late. The second time, the driver wanted to run errands WHILE I was in the car and told me that he has to stop at his friends house (on top of being 15 min late). We booked a taxi to take us to Detroit Metro from the Wyndham Garden Hotel on Jackson in Ann Arbor at 4:30am. The driver never showed up. (The same thing happened to Daniel Z below) I tried calling their "24 hour service" number and the call went straight to Brandon's answering machine. We waited over a half hour and ended up having to call and wake up an ill family member. What if we knew absolutely no one in the area? And although Brandon verified my phone number and the location of our hotel twice, he never called to apologize or explain. Bad, bad, bad!! read more

We booked them for a 3pm ride to the football stadium on game day. I set it up a few hours in advance. The driver called at 2:59 to let us know he was running a few minutes late and he arrived by about 3:02. It took ten minutes to get us to the corner of Hoover and Main and the charge was 25% of what it would have cost us to park near there, with infinitely less trouble. My dad has only attended one game in the last couple of years because the 1.5 mile walk from my house is a bit more than he can handle in his later 70's. This ride let him and his two sons enjoy the football game together. It was simple, quick, reasonably priced, and the driver was very nice. We'll do it again next season, no question about it. If possible I would give NO stars to Stadium Taxi. While parallel parking uptown - turn signal on and already backing into the space - a Stadium Taxi zipped into the very same space, behind me and bumped into my car. When confronted with his rudeness, he refused to move and called the police. When the police arrived, the taxi driver lied about his actions and claimed that we backed into him. Was referred here by Green Cab because Green Cab does not service Ypsilanti during the day. Called Stadium Taxi 3 times and the phone just rang and rang; no one answered. I then called Blue Cab and they were GREAT. Stadium you lost a repeat customer because you have no dispatcher and will not answer the phone. Costly mistake. read more

We had Tom as our driver, and he was absolutely excellent. Great customer service and personable manner about him. He came a few minutes early and drove at a safe speed, which was important especially in the rain. In fact, there was a car that came out of nowhere from the shoulder without signaling, and because of his safe driving skills, he was able to save us from a big accident on the freeway in the rain. If it were me, I would have honked at that car in front of us because he/she was being reckless by not signaling and coming off the shoulder in front of a moving vehicle, but he did not because he said he was representing the company and wanted to be professional. I was so impressed by his restraint and self-control. He also loaded our luggage into the van and carried all of our luggage to the curb for us at the airport! He was outstanding! read more

Tried again 5 minutes after that. Finally, had to take my own car. Would give them zero stars if I could for no customer service and no ride when previously agreed to. Do NOT use this company. We were told the driver would pick us up in 15 minutes. When the driver did not show, we called the dispatcher multiple times to see what was going on. An hour later, the owner picked us up. Even though we just got off of the phone with him expressing our frustration, his first question to us was 'how is your night going?'. He then proceeded to tell us it had been a slow night for the company, and that he had been watching a softball game. When we were dropped off, he told us the fare was $12. I asked what we could about payment due to the bad experience of the night. He offered to knock off $2. We were not happy with that, and explained to him that as a service provider, he needed to do more than that in order for us to leave happy customers and not spread bad reviews. He said he has to run a business and could not go lower than that. He did not have change for my $20, and said he would have to go inside somewhere to break it. We were not going to wait a minute longer for this guy, so I gave him $6 that I had in my wallet instead of waiting to break a $20, and we got out of the cab. As we walked away, he yelled out the window at us to never call them again (never would), and called my fiance a f***ing d*****bag. read more

Worst taxi service ever. Used them for the first time last night. No driver was waiting for me at t he designated area. Because I had not used them before, 3 or 4 days before my trip I called just to verify that that they had me on t heir pickup schedule for 9 PM Monday. Was assured they did. When I called the office because of the no show, I was asked if I had a reservation! They couldn't seem to find it, but said t hey would call me back in a few minutes. When they did, I was told they weren't sure if my arrival was 9AM or PM, that they had left me a message (on my land line at home!) , and someone would pick me up "in 20 minutes." Close to 10PM the owner, Mark, showed up. Dressed sloppily with a drinking straw sticking out of his mouth (which he kept there). The van was messy, Mark scrolled through his phone multiple times during the ride, was singing and whistling. When I got home, he did not help with the luggage. NEVER NEVER AGAIN! read more

Don't count on them to be on time or tell you a straight story. Called when late, and the guy said he would check and call me right back. Ten minutes later, he had not called so I called him back. He said there had been a breakdown and they were sending another car. You think he would have called me back as I had a flight to catch. Anyway, he said the second car would be there in 10 minutes. No show. So I drove myself to the airport. The driver of the second car call to tell me he had arrived 20 minutes after that. So all in all, the car finally showed up about 40 to 45 minutes late. Had I waited, I would have missed my flight. Will never call them again. read more

Failed to meet even the minimum requirements of a taxi service; 1) Find my house, 2) Show up on time. Booked 2 reservations a week apart. The first was for our departure date from DTW and the second was for the return flight a week later. For the departure (for which I received an email confirmation for) they claimed not to have any record of. I had to call them three times until a driver showed up 35 minutes late. We requested 2 cars/2 drivers for 7 passengers plus luggage. There was no sign of the second driver and the driver that did show up failed to provide an adequate explanation (or apology) as to what happened to the second taxi. We were in danger of missing our flight with no time to contact another taxi service. We had no choice but to cram 8 people (7 passengers plus driver) in a 7 passenger minivan - in addition to all of our luggage. We felt extremely unsafe as the minivan was 20 years old and had very bad suspension. The fair online was $39. The fair advertised on the minivan was $45. Once we arrived at DTW I paid the driver $45 (the online fair plus tip). The driver looked at me as if I had shorted him his fair (or perhaps he should have received double the fair for transporting passengers that would have normally and safely fit into two taxis). The driver never made any effort to apologize and even acted like we owed him our praise because we got to the airport. I cancelled the return reservation (and booked with another taxi service). Worst experience in a taxi period. Worst customer service. I would never recommend this taxi service. read more
