I always had to initiate the conversation, then have to wait a few days to get any kind of reply, with excuses of why she didn't reply sooner. At least she replied to the website contact form? The second agent flat out ignored the inquiry. I don't know what they get as a kickback for booking a vacation, but I just booked a 6 full days vacation at an all-inclusive resort + flight + private transportation for next year and no one is getting a dime for it. Using this team of travel experts has taken all the stress and pressure out of planning a vacation. They planned an entire Mediteranean vacation for us which included flights, hotels, necessary transports, a cruise through the Greek Islands and a trip to Italy visiting Rome and Florence, including the high-speed rail transport from Rome to Florence. All our accomodations were perfect, they set us up with all the documentation, emergency numbers, instructions to help us get through each part of our trip. On one occasion, we had a hotel booked in Rome, Italy (confirmation numbers and all) and upon arriving there was an error in the hotels system that was delaying our getting into the hotel) We didn't know what to do and so we called the Livonia Travel Agency (from Rome around noon - about 6am EST) and right away, the representatives at Livonia Travel Services were calling the hotel to resolve the issue. A half hour later, the hotel consierge approached us and took us to our room. I remember being so worried that we were going to have find another hotel last minute with all of our luggage, but thank goodness that didn't happen. That sort of thing definitely happens and it was great to see the Livonia Travel Service have our back and set things right. We will definitely continue using Livonia Travel Services in the future - the service is consistently thorough, knowledgeable, affordable and SO worth it. Planning big vacations are a big job... and I aint got time for that!

After narrowing it down we decide on the Iberostar Grand in Montego Bay which is an inclusive resort. Patti was phenomenal. She responded quickly and in about two days we booked the vacation. Our resort was changed 2 days before we left. We both got food poisoning even though we stayed away from the water and such. We spent 7 days in our hotel. The travel agent didn't even apologize. I ended up going to the resort company and getting our money back. I asked brookside travel to pay for our airfare and they didn't. I would never use them again or recommend them to anyone.
