BUCKY!!!

What a tremendous treat to find Stadium Takeout. Visiting my son & craving an East Coast style cheesesteak sub sandwich or a chopped cheese sandwich and discovered this joint on my search. We walked over together to find a VERY pro Badger decor in addition to a very pleasant & immediate greeting by the owner. He was very helpful & knowledgeable about the menu as expected. We decided on a Donfather (thinly sliced beef & cheese on locally baked fresh soft rolls) & a traditional Philly cheesesteak sandwich with an order of buffalo dry rub wings. A short wait later our wings came out & were crispy on the outside & moist within. Terrific. The last bone hit the basket and our sandwiches were delivered. The cheesesteak was wrapped & served with fries and the Don stacked tall and tantalizing. The Don was a healthy serving. The bites were really satisfying as the meat was tender, the potato roll soft & supple. The cheesesteak emerged from the wrapper to reveal a VERY large sandwich. The Philly was equally satisfying. The fries were a terrific & unexpected surprise as they're hand cut and REALLY light and crispy. We really enjoyed our visit. My son was really happy to include Stadium Takeout as a new & reliable go to place for him. I recommend a visit without hesitation.

I placed an order via their website for pick-up, and it was hot and ready when I arrived. Luckily there was extremely close street parking on the one-way street next to the restaurant. I was excited to try their fries, as they seem to have the most comments in other reviews. I found them deliciously different. I describe them as a cross between crinkle fries and steak fries. They are thick and extra crispy with a fluffy, hot center. They held up great while dipping into the luscious cheddar cheese sauce (extra charge, and totally worth it!) Yum. The Chicago dog was good, but next time I will remember that cold ingredients on the dog cause the dog to cool down quickly, so plan to eat it right away. The Italian beef (ordered it plain) was very good. The meat seemed more tender than other restaurants, with nice spice flavoring. A bit more expensive, however.

Got the Philly cheesesteak with sweet peppers, whiz and onions. It was absolutely delicious! The fries are the perfect crispiness. Topped it off with a sprechers root beer. The staff is very friendly. Next, im trying that chicago dog!

Very welcoming service when we walked in was greeted with a hello! Order the Tuesday special, which was 2 hot dogs and fries for 10.99. food was good fries were hot and fresh. Looking forward to going back to try the Philly cheesesteak. The ambience is very sports like, chill vibes great place if you want to feel welcome as a Chicago Bear fan.

The hype is real - Stadium Take Out does not disappoint. Our group enjoyed the chopped cheese, Philly cheese steak, and wings. All delicious. The fries were unbelievable, and unlike others I have had. The owner, Don, was so sweet and kind, and brought us an Italian ice on the house to celebrate my friend's birthday. I'll be dreaming of the mango Italian ice for a while.

I took out lunch from here. I put an online order and food was ready within 15 minutes. Hot and sweet philly was my favorite. It was really hot. My nose started running, but really flavorful. I enjoyed it. Donfather was really good as well. It was spicy as well, though it was nowhere close to the spice level of the first item. Overall a quick and tasty lunch.

Best Chicago dog in the city I think. Clean and comfortable inside. Can't believe I waited so long to check it out.

Holy smokes... I am going to have dreams about this sandwich. It is definitely top 3 sandwiches of…read moremy life and maybe the best ever. I had the prosciutto sandwich and my SO had the pastrami and both had nothing but good things to say as we ate. The prosciutto sandwich had balsamic that had just started to soak into the otherwise crunchy bread, with these big chunks of mozzarella and the freshest tomatoes and greens. Alimentari itself is this awesome little deli/grocer with both bagged pastas AND FRESH PASTA/antipasti available to buy, as well as all sorts of goods, breads, coffees, chocolates, beverages and a whole wine selection. I ordered the smoked turkey sandwich, and the gentleman taking my order pointed to a random piece of focaccia on display on the counter and asked if I'd like my sandwich on that. I don't know what kind of bread if normally comes on, but I have since read about the thicker/crustier bread on some reviews. Gosh am I glad he offered the focaccia. The bread made this sandwich, it was sooo good. It was light and fluffy despite being substantial in size, and had this delightful little crunch from the sea salt on it (not in a salty sense, just in a wonderful texture sense). There was a ton of turkey on it and it was a yummy smoked flavor. The other fixings were standard but complimented the sandwich very well. The sandwich was tasty and filling. All this said, because I paid $16 for my sandwich, I wouldn't make it a regular occurrence, maybe a special treat. But if it's on regular bread, particularly a harder crust bread, I think I'd skip it entirely. You do get a lot of sandwich for your money, but I just can't justify it. So, overall, this is definitely worth trying and deciding for yourself - I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The turkey was a hot sandwich while the classic was a cold. The location itself is small, feels like a hole in the wall bar with great cozy vibes. We were lucky enough to bike over on a nice day and so we sat in the outdoor space which is also small but got the job done before we were back on our bikes with happy bellies. We will definitely be revisiting so we can try more of the menu!

But if you were open to just having a nice casual dinner in a retro easy place, this is it. My fiance and I went to meet up with some friends from out of town and from a list of places I wanted to try, they chose this one. Between the two of us, we spent about $60 for this meal, which I suppose now adays is on par with what you can get away with. We also left with half a sandwich because honestly, these guys are huge! -Hot Beef Sando with Cheese (extra): this was a massive sandwich, packed with flavor. The ah jus was on the side and needed for dunking. It hit the spot, was a messy affair, but was very good. The meat wasn't melt in your mouth, it was actually quite dry, but the mix of everything together and the dip made it good overall. - Chili Cup: well spiced, super small cup and charging a dollar for each addition of onion, cheese, and sour cream is murder. Pass on the fixings, the soup doesn't need it, but it's not something i'd get again as it wasn't knock out of the park good. -Homemade Orange Soda: this was great. I love the nostalgia of using Tang and it was more earthy because they put some spices in it. Overall, would get again. -Coleslaw was asian inspired and made well, especially with the mint on top. Be warned though, its the same slaw on the pulled chicken...which speaking of: -Pulled chicken sandwich: It's their meat americanized fusion version of a banh mi. I know they have a vegan one on their menu, but this one felt less like a sandwich. The spices weren't quite asian tho and was interesting with the slaw. The sandwich had a good variety of textures throughout - my only wish was that the focaccia was also toasted. I think that would complement the sandwich textures even more. The coveted chocolate chip is *that* good. Thin, crispy edges, chewy center with flat chocolate wafer chips. The salt on top was a wonderful contrast to the sweet chocolate. You also can't beat the price of $2.25 for a good cookie. My only other complaint would be the limited seating. The workers here also try to provide table service and bring your sandwich out to you if you do dine-in. However, there isn't a system for them to find you at the table easily and they are just wandering around looking for you by name. Having a little table # placard would benefit the staff here.
