As a venue, you have one fecking job. Just sell tickets either as standing or seated. The seated tickets have numbers. Wow, so simple right? A MESS of a place, awful staff and security, people left scrambling half way through the concert. Disgusting and will not be back.

Since it is not located in Brussels there are only a few options to get to the venue. First, by car (either your own car or Uber/taxi). Second, public transportation. If you are a tourist and are unfamiliar with the public transportation, the only way to get to the venue is either through Uber or Taxi. The other issue I had was that the venue is outdated, it definitely needs to be updated. Another problem is that since the venue is outdated the acoustics were off. Perhaps if they venue were to be updated the acoustics would be better!

It's not the fanciest part of the stadium but that's what's actually makes it even better. They just opened up a new part called "tribune 1" if you like a little more comfortable luxury.

I must say that I was a little disappointed because this stadium was opened in 1920 for the Olympics held that year. Well the stadium has been refurbished and changed so many times that it looks nothing like it did in its glory days, unlike the Union St. Gilles Stadium (in Brussels) that was also built for those Olympics and has kept its look. That said, it is still a pretty nice stadium although I felt that it lacked anything "special" about it. Today the stadium holds over 12,500 fans. Getting there is easy - you can take the #2 or #6 tram from the front of the main train station, the one called Diamant.

I believe acoustics are better in Antwerp than in Vorst. It can hold maximum 18.400 people and that's A LOT. Imagine traffic around this ugly building... I would never want to live in this neighborhood, but yet this is a very crowded area. Here are some tips... Traffic - AVOID THE CAR - parking is hell and LEAVING the PARKING IS HELL (takes a lot of time) - you must pay, anywhere you park - take the tram! It's also veeery crowded but it's fast. - you can also park a little further and then walk. Please do understand that a little further means like minimum 1 km further, not around the corner. EVERYTHING IS JAMMED around the Sportpaleis, believe me Scheduling - please be on time, if doors open at 18h, there will already be people waiting - if you have standing places, be there when doors open - for seating places count on 30' before the show starts Tickets - look up THE PLAN ONLINE to see where which zone is - don't buy them at the door, there are always people trying to buy & sell tickets but it can happen that they are FAKE (and you don't want that) Sound - please TAKE EARPLUGS. It can be so loud in there! You don't want to waste your ears. - I am used to the acoustics in this hall but if you compare it to for example the smaller AB in Brussels, this sounds "terrible". It's good for big shows but please, if an artist like John Legend for example would be performing here, it wouldn't be rightful. Price - tickets for music shows are very expensive in general but it depends on the artist Food & drinks - it's affordable. You can pay cash at one of the many bars - bars are on level zero and on the first floor - you can eat something indoors but there are also a lot of kebab & pizza places outside the Sportpaleis - generally they don't check your bag so I always take my own bottle of water or something to eat
