I had the Lumberjack breakfast and I must say it was allot of food for the price. It was so much I was unable to finish it and took some to go. Waited over 2 hours for breakfast. Excuse was that it got really busy after we came in so it delayed everything. Very poor excuse as we were there first. All the adults got served breakfast first while the youngest child of 4 got served last (25 min behind everything else. This was pancakes.... 25 minutes for pancakes. When my other daughter got her order of pancakes the waitress came over reached across the table over my wife and beside me and took my daughters plate from her as she was eating it.... keep in mind we waited over 2 hours. No explanation was given at that time and we were all in disbelief that this had just happened. The waitress finally returned with another order and did not say anything... I immediately asked what that was all about and told her how ridiculous that was to do without explanation. Her reason was that the pancakes had smarties in them. I said to her that she should have said that in the first place and my daughter would have been just fine with that. We finally finished eating and head up to the front to pay. My bill seemed a bit high but at that point I just wanted to go so I paid it and left. My friend paid behind me and came out and handed me $15 back and said the waitress made a mistake on the bill and over charged you. This is also after Removing the order of pancakes..... not to mention that every time our coffee was topped up we were billed for another coffee.... long story short I told them that I would not be coming back as it was the worst service I have had in my 36 years of dining out. We were not the only ones people were leaving and complaining about the wait time. They were being told it was an hour wait until they would get there bacon and eggs. Whom ever is running this restaurant is driving it hard into the ground. Get yourself some competent staff or close your doors. read more

I have noticed that it has been closed for 2 weeks. We went there when the original owners had it and enjoyed the experience however the last time we were there it was dreadful. We waited 45 minutes for bacon and eggs and when we asked how long it would be for our food to arrive the snotty hostess accused us of being bad customers. Avoid at all costs!!! read more

Huge portions, quality is okay. The pancakes are supposed to be the highlight here. Looking around the restaurant , that's what most people are ordering. They were a little disappointing. They were massive but they tasted like the powdered ready to go pancakes you can find at the grocery store. Not a lot of other all day breakfast joints in this small town so it's normally busy! All-day breakfast, isn't that enough Kidding-aside, this place is great. We stumbled upon this gem via Yelp from Awenda Provincial Park on Labour Day. So glad that we made the short side trip. Servings are humongous and the taste are so good. You can't beat this winning combination. But they beat it themselves! Their prices are so affordable I felt like I robbed the place. Horrible long wait time. One hour after we were seated and ordered they still hadn't started our bacon and egg breakfast. No warning about the long times as the staff doesn't seem to care. My back locked up sitting in the uncomfortable chairs. I recommend anyplace else for food or service, this place is an unpleasant experience for breakfast. read more

Last Friday we waited 1.5 hours for our food, and we had only ordered 3 plates. Both bathrooms had no soap, and one had no toilet paper. Customer service was ok, not great, but honestly I'd be cranky if I was one of only two(!) people working trying to handle a whole restaurant. The table beside us sat dirty for an hour. What was once a great place for breakfast has turned into the worst place to eat. The old owners were friendly and outstanding and treated their customers like family. Since new owners took over, the service has absolutely gone down hill. I tried this place 3x with new owner but the service has not gotten any better, once seated and breakfast ordered it took over an hr to get our meal. Waiting at door to be seated also takes forever, even if lots of tables are free. The new owner does not greet her customers, instead she yells across the restaurant to ask how many. Waitresses also not serving coffee like they use to, you have to wave them down. The owner just stands there with a nasty look on her face and the place feels so very unwelcoming. I will not eat there again and have seen a lot of bad reviews. I won't be surprised if this place closes its doors. She yelled at customer in restaurant that moms is down the street. What kind of owner does that... people even walked out as got tired of waiting for their meal. I could of made breakfast at home faster and will do that from now on as I won't be going back there. You'd be wise to avoid this place as others are finding out. I have found that Phil's in Penetanguishene is much better and her old cook is working there and some of the old staff is there to.. looks like they did not like her ways either. i as many others ive talked to will not be giving my money nor time to stackers. my last and i mean last time there my wife and i sipped on three cups of coffee and after a 40 minute wait the food came. cold not as ordered a total dissapointment. what happened to all the old waitresses that were smiling all the time and getting the job done ???? we are from toronto and used to eat here every weekend. we ate at phils in penetang and moms just down the street for the rest of our four day weekend, would highly recommend both of these other places.if stackers doesnt smarten up very very soon they will see themselves trying to sell the place again. you really need better cooks and definately more mature and experienced waitresses. a bit of personality would also be nice. good luck to you all. your really gonna need it. i only gave you one star simply because there was nothing lower. this notice from joe in toronto read more
