After waiting until into my 60's I finally stopped by their studio in Hanover and am having a wonderful time and learning a lot. My instructor, Vika, who is very talented in addition to being beautiful, and everyone else there are very patient with a novice (me). They have a practical lesson plan to learn incrementally and feeling comfortable while doing so. The people there are all very friendly. I am glad I finally stopped by instead of just driving by and now wish I had done it earlier in my life. P.S. I have lost about 15 pounds and feel better than I have in years.

I went to an open class after years of taking off dance. There were quite a few people in a small…read morespace. The class was difficult but I kept up somewhat. Most were younger adults (where I'm almost 50). Everyone was nice and the instructor choreographed a beautiful routine. I just wish I was in better "dance shape" to have kept up. I mistook "open" for beginner and I would not say it was a beginner class. You need to know basic terminology of dance to keep up at all. If they ever offer a beginner class I'd be apt to come back.

It can be uncomfortable just to be standing in that kind of weather, let alone doing cardio for an hour plus. Honestly, this seems irresponsible to me, and I'm confused by the fact that they don't seem to be concerned about heat stroke. There are definitely days when the only reason I don't go to class is because there's no AC. I also wish they had contemporary classes (they have one "contemporary modern" once a week, which is not the same as contemporary).

I went to the Friday 9:30am classes with Angela Beyer and they were awesome! You are provided with a mat, weights and a ball. Socks are not necessary for this class. The workout itself was challenging and flew by. The facility was clean. There is one hour street parking but also a public lot around the corner. Highly recommend if you are looking to try out a new barre studio!
