I was there awhile as I had to sign up for university courses that day and once I got peckish, but not hungry enough for a meal, I asked if it was too late to order a brownie. They were starting to wind down at that point and had every right to refuse but not only did they let me order-- they were also exceptionally polite and friendly while I did so. I struck up a conversation with the owner and said the cafe was much better than any I'd been to in Canada; she seemed very pleased and said she would have to tell that to her Canadian friend. The brownie was so rich I couldn't finish it. This is in no way a fault of theirs-- I just filled up quicker than I thought I would!
