We got two americanos, a scone, and a "zesty" chicken focaccia. The coffee dispelled any myths we heard about Ireland's relationship to coffee. The "zesty" chicken was more coated in a sweet barbeque sauce, but it was fine and heathful. But it was the scone that gave us life. I've never had a "cream tea" before, never even had clotted cream. But this scone was perfectly warm and soft, served with the cream and jam. And after 19 hours of travel, it was so comforting I couldn't stand it. You feel like it's the 1940s especially with how the large room is decorated and service staff are dressed. Candles burning & fresh flowers on the table.
