Probably best to get it when it's made fresh. Their mussels were yummy too and caught just a few miles away, can't beat that. Relaxed interior decor with lots of seating and nooks and crannies so would be good for big families and couples alike, they also had a pretty decent variety of Irish craft beers available. It was quiet while we visited midweek but I'd say the atmosphere at the weekend is buzzing. Nice place for a spot of lunch or dinner overall and very generous portions. Yum.

The food is a pretty Irish menu but everything tastes great and the service is in the ball. Always go for beef medallions, but fish and chips good choice. Desserts are top notch too- usually cakes with a side of ice cream. They usually do a three course special in the evenings to and cater for parties. Can't fault this place. Good pub grub here at the Duiske Inn…read more I ordered the chicken goujons with chips and side salad. Fairly typical pub food, but very tasty and quality stuff. And their portion of goujons was massive. Eight in all I think. Everyone else enjoyed their food too. But the service let the Duiske Inn down a lot. They appeared to be understaffed and it was a very busy Sunday. There was initially two floor staff, a barman and a waitress. A second barman appeared later just as we finished eating. That said the first barman played a blinder and was really doing his best to serve drinks, take food orders and get new patrons seated. If it wasn't for him I reckon we would have walked out without eating. The waitress came and went less frequently. She chatted to patrons she knew. A-ok, more so if you've more than one dedicated staff member on the floor.
