All of the reviews have for this school have been from parents who only saw the school at morning prayer, once a month at lunch, and then at dismissal. Most parents don't know what's going on inside the classrooms because they're simply not there. So they really have no idea what to say about the school. I, myself as a student who spent 7 years at the school and graduated from there, would know everything. First of all, my parents had to pay a huge load of money for me to go the school, let's just get that out of the way. Most of the teachers there just seemed like what they were teaching us was straight out of the book, and not what they had learned throughout their years of school and teacher school. I also wanna say that most of the teachers weren't "fun" teachers. And when I say they weren't "fun," I mean it was nearly impossible to please them. And the one teacher that all the students liked and was "fun," was fired. Once, on one of my homework assignments, I had to do a math problem. I did the full problem, got the correct answer, but I didn't do it the way the teacher instructed me to. So for that, the teacher took off 9 points. NINE POINTS. Yes, you read that correctly. Another thing that happened was a bit later in my years at the school. It was during the English. The teacher gave us an in-class assignment. So, as any normal student would do, I did the assignment. When I was finished, I set down my pen, closed my text book, and opened my novel I had been reading. The teacher came storming over to my desk, grabbed my book right out of my hands, and was like "WHAT IS THIS!?" I had no damn clue why she was like this. She then told me to step outside, and she talked to me for a few minutes. This was in April, which was around the same time as my good friends birthday, who had passed away from cancer earlier that August. She said that maybe why my behavior was so bad was because I was still coping with that. Let's get a few things straight here. One, my behavior was not bad. Ask literally anyone in my class and every single teacher that ever taught me, I was the quietest kid during class. Second, I had learned to move on from my friends death. Yes, I was still sad, but by that point, it wasn't effecting my behavior and my grades. So that's also another incident of teachers because... tough, I guess? I don't know what to call it. There many more incidents like that, but none involved considering I was pretty quiet during class. I also just wanna say how cheap this school is. They made us pay a big fat tuition, and give them a fat check every year to go to this damn school. On top of that, every year, they gave us an entire page, front side and back, of supplies that we would need, which half of it we wouldn't even use. One last thing about the teachers and staff, at recess, which is out on a big blacktop, they have several kick balls and two basketballs. Sometimes, both the basketballs would be taken, and other people would want to shoot around, so they would take one of the kickballs that are NOT being used. Then, one of the staff people would always get mad at us for using a kickball to play basketball. Like how the hell do you get mad at us. You would think that the damn school has enough money to buy a couple more basketballs. And the basketballs that they did have, were the most beat up piece of shit basketballs you could ask for. Now let's get to the students. Most students had their own little cliques, and if you are not apart of the clique, you're treated like shit. In fifth grade, I was bullied by one kid just because of the hats I wore. And when I say fifth grade, I mean it was the worst in fifth grade. He was still an asshole to me the whole time I was at the school, and he's part of the reason why I went to a high school that no St. Vincent kids go to. Pretty much everyone in our class hated each other, and they were willing to say that to each other's faces, and talk to shit to people in front of them and not care. I also found myself getting judged in a bad way for almost no reason. Being at this school lowered my confidence so much. If I had a crush on someone, or even just though a girl was pretty, I would never even imagine admitting it to even one of my friends. Why? Because I was afraid of getting judged. Now that I'm away from that school, I don't give a shit what other people
think. That's all I gotta say. If you read this whole thing, you deserve a metal. read more
