Not sure why they have the woman in the office that represents Our Lady Of The Assumption. She is clearly not happy with her job, and not welcoming at all. We were there for a memorial for our mother, and she acted as if we were in her way. The ladies we met for the memorial were very kind and helpful. After the meeting we told to go back to the main office to have the office receptionist let us into the room to take a look. We asked to see the area for a reception and she said no not at this time. Thats all she said and turned her back on us. I'm pretty sure she is not happy with her job. She really shouldn't be the first person people see when they enter the office.

I do hear that they got rid of Father Joe that is SAD, he was a Good man. It seems that everytime they get a Good Priest that the congregation likes they get rid of them. Had the pleasure to stop by for a daily Mass and if I was in the area I'd be here every day. The outside and inside of the parish is serene and peaceful. I didn't walk thru the garden area near the parking lot but seemed like a perfect place to sit and let God's peace be with you. Didn't have a chance to take photos as I was captivated by the beauty of the altar and stained glass windows. It also has one of my favorite sculptures of Michelangelo's Pieta. You can definitely find the Kerygma proclaimed here daily. If you're nearby, make this a stop for some prayer and worship. God bless

The Worship Team are very talented; not overpowering, professional sound, and real believers. Today I decided to go in person. Yay. Today the church actually had their first choir singing (and incredible organ piping through the beautiful sanctuary). Outside (at the mid-morning service at 10:30am) you can come and worship without a mask... Inside (at the 9:00am) it's wonderful, and with the mask if you don't feel safe yet. I have been church shopping ever since moving to the area -- for 7 months -- and I'm so glad I found this place. No one was rude, or ignored me, or anything of the kind... it is a place I will return next Sunday...and again and again. Was especially impressed with the outside activities offered, including the lunch picnics in the park across the street, the game nights, and the service projects coming up. I'm onboard!! My 7 year old was upset on our way home from his experience. We agreed to try one more Sunday but at an earlier time hoping things might be different. He was just too upset getting ready for our second visit this morning. As much as we liked the pastor, we can't go back if our son had such a bad experience. I've been blessed to visit some churches traveling for work. I've had the privilege of visiting the church a few times. This community was very reverent. They have a nice patio area outside, the chapel isn't large but very intimate. They have their Mass schedule online. We tried this church for the first time today and it was an "okay" experience... I admit we are…read morevery spoiled from our previous church that we've been going in Mountain View and the pastor there is a master of attention capturing sermons. I was a little intimidated by having to sit right in the front (I don't usually like to sit right in the front) and be very close to the stage and the singers... The people seemed friendly and nice but I'm not a very physically outward in worshiping like lifting my hands up, saying things out loud, etc. so I felt like I was forced to repeat sayings (both by pastor and his wife) and doing stuff like hold up the tithe and offerings (it makes people feel bad if you don't have them...I don't think that should be forced). The message was good but the delivery was a little rough. I just mean that I'm very used to a smooth, funny, entertaining while educational sermons where what I heard today was a little long and repetitious in delivery. I got away from a very stale, quiet church to a very upbeat and fun church so going back to a more serious, less "funny" was not what I wanted. I think I would give it another try but I would definitely sit in the middle or rear so I don't feel like I'm under the spot light. This is probably a growing church that will go through changes as it grows. I think I just miss my old church and my old pastor... The church itself is pretty small, maybe ~150 people can sit in the room, not fancy, simple setting with two lit stained glass "windows" and curtains as the back drop and a low stage very close to the pews. One thing I felt that's great is that it seems the pastor is very personal and you can get the attention if you are in need. I mean you could get to know the pastor in a personal level if you want to. I know that could be hard in a bigger church.
