I am writing this from the hospital where I am recovering from a much needed hip replacement surgery. I am so thankful for God's grace as I am now able to walk. Amazing! But as I prayed, I found myself thinking about this church during recovery and how my 18 year old son and his friends have made it their church. You see my son invited me there. I'm so proud of my son and his faith. He in many ways has inspired me to be a more involved and conscious Christian. As I settled in I was moved to tears by such a well spoken and powerful and memorable sermon. I encourage anyone to open their hearts and walk on in.

Definitely an extremely welcoming church!! Everyone is soooo friendly so if you're looking to blend in and not make friends this church is not the place for you haha! My husband and I were very blessed by the warm welcoming we received in the lobby/foyer area. Even when we were sitting waiting for church to start, this super nice young man came over and introduced himself, asked where we were from etc... we chatted it up for at least 5 minutes. Haha didn't realize he was the pastor! Very young so we were quite surprised when "Pastor Matt" came up to the pulpit LOL! Worship was good... Pastor's message was good as well. We've been Christians for a long time and really enjoy digging in the Word-Meaty teachings. It was ok-just not as meaty as we're used to. We're planning to visit again as we continue to search for where God wants us.

During CCCs transition period I prayed that God would Send the right person for the job to lead this congregation and all the pastors that filled in during this time were great. Activities are available year round and bible studies are available throughout the week. Also lots of ways to get involved at your level of comfort. Traditional services at 8 and 11 if you prefer, and a contemporary praise service at 9:30 to meet everyone's preference. I highly recommend coming and bringing a friend!

We were there for a memorial for our mother, and she acted as if we were in her way. The ladies we met for the memorial were very kind and helpful. After the meeting we told to go back to the main office to have the office receptionist let us into the room to take a look. We asked to see the area for a reception and she said no not at this time. Thats all she said and turned her back on us. I'm pretty sure she is not happy with her job. She really shouldn't be the first person people see when they enter the office.

I do hear that they got rid of Father Joe that is SAD, he was a Good man. It seems that everytime they get a Good Priest that the congregation likes they get rid of them. The last Good Priest was Father Steve. I may return now that I know how the Church looks. It has been almost 3 years.

We loved meeting the members and learning about the rich history of the church, going all the way back to the 1960's. We were so encouraged to see how God has been working here for decades!
