I came in broken and barely able to walk on my first visit to this Church, and was greeted so…read morewarmly by the usher and other church members who helped me get seated and tended to me during communion. I am writing this from the hospital where I am recovering from a much needed hip replacement surgery. I am so thankful for God's grace as I am now able to walk. Amazing! But as I prayed, I found myself thinking about this church during recovery and how my 18 year old son and his friends have made it their church. You see my son invited me there. I'm so proud of my son and his faith. He in many ways has inspired me to be a more involved and conscious Christian. As I settled in I was moved to tears by such a well spoken and powerful and memorable sermon. I encourage anyone to open their hearts and walk on in.

Definitely an extremely welcoming church!! Everyone is soooo friendly so if you're looking to blend in and not make friends this church is not the place for you haha! My husband and I were very blessed by the warm welcoming we received in the lobby/foyer area. Even when we were sitting waiting for church to start, this super nice young man came over and introduced himself, asked where we were from etc... we chatted it up for at least 5 minutes. Haha didn't realize he was the pastor! Very young so we were quite surprised when "Pastor Matt" came up to the pulpit LOL! Worship was good... Pastor's message was good as well. We've been Christians for a long time and really enjoy digging in the Word-Meaty teachings. It was ok-just not as meaty as we're used to. We're planning to visit again as we continue to search for where God wants us.

I love that they serve coffee, tea, water and donut holes that you can either take into the auditorium or can enjoy in the cafe tables in the lobby. In the lobby there are screens to watch the service and there are also a few rows of seating in-front of the large screen that are like auditorium seats. This is a great option for people that might want to have a more casual experience or for young families with strollers or just don't want to have their children checked into the kids corner. They provide new visitors with a mug and information like the mission app. Everyone has been so welcoming and kind. I have attended with friends and I have come by myself. Each service makes me feel safe and part of a community. I was lucky enough to attend their new visitors night on April 13th. They fed us, provided coffee, tea and water and we got to sit at tables in the main lobby to meet other new visitors and hear the mission statement of mission and find out more information about how to get involved. If you are looking for a new church, you should check out Mission. It's a great place for growing your faith and for building God connections.

However, our experience during worship was uncomfortable. After we found our seats and worship had already begun, a volunteer staff member approached us and said she needed six seats that overlapped with where we were sitting. I told her we would do the Christian thing and move out of the way. She then suggested we ask others to move over, but the row was already full, and the people next to us were also reserving seats for others. In that moment, it honestly felt like we were being pushed out of our seats rather than welcomed. To avoid causing disruption, we moved into the aisle to continue worshiping, then stood in the back. Eventually, we left the worship area altogether and sat in the open common area instead. We came to worship God, not to hold onto seats, so we chose peace over conflict. Still, for a church that emphasizes community and welcome, this interaction left us feeling displaced rather than cared for, especially during worship. I believe Mission Church has good intentions and a strong foundation in Christ, but I hope they can improve how seating and volunteer interactions are handled so guests feel welcomed, respected, and valued rather than inconvenienced during worship.

The pastor is a really good speaker, excellent music and it's a beautiful campus but whenever I reached out (which wasn't that often) to staff was completely ignored. I'm not sure that anyone would be ok with such inconsiderate treatment. A few on the team are uncaring and cold, it's such a huge Church that they do not care if they ever see you again. They are very selective in whom they accept into their circle. I was in the season of life where I was really needing care and connection in a Church and this Church wasn't capable of doing that. I won't return to any Church after this experience.

I love my church! I have been coming to this church for about 10 years. It is a big church so give…read morethem some grace if you need that one on one attention. The staff is small but Pastor Steve is awesome! I love the way God uses him, I personally like being told what I need to work on, feel the conviction and hold myself accountable. Pastor Steve doesn't sugar coat things! I love his family too, his wife Tammy is super sweet, and their kids are great that are actively involved with the church. When my sister passed suddenly I was able to call the church and talk to someone right away and they prayed for me and even sent over dinner for me and my family since I had my sister's daughters in my care. A church being that big and took the time for me, I was touched. If you want to get more involved they have ways you can serve, Bible study and training for life that will help you get a better understanding with Christianity.

We were there for a memorial for our mother, and she acted as if we were in her way. The ladies we met for the memorial were very kind and helpful. After the meeting we told to go back to the main office to have the office receptionist let us into the room to take a look. We asked to see the area for a reception and she said no not at this time. Thats all she said and turned her back on us. I'm pretty sure she is not happy with her job. She really shouldn't be the first person people see when they enter the office.

We tried this church for the first time today and it was an "okay" experience... I admit we are…read morevery spoiled from our previous church that we've been going in Mountain View and the pastor there is a master of attention capturing sermons. I was a little intimidated by having to sit right in the front (I don't usually like to sit right in the front) and be very close to the stage and the singers... The people seemed friendly and nice but I'm not a very physically outward in worshiping like lifting my hands up, saying things out loud, etc. so I felt like I was forced to repeat sayings (both by pastor and his wife) and doing stuff like hold up the tithe and offerings (it makes people feel bad if you don't have them...I don't think that should be forced). The message was good but the delivery was a little rough. I just mean that I'm very used to a smooth, funny, entertaining while educational sermons where what I heard today was a little long and repetitious in delivery. I got away from a very stale, quiet church to a very upbeat and fun church so going back to a more serious, less "funny" was not what I wanted. I think I would give it another try but I would definitely sit in the middle or rear so I don't feel like I'm under the spot light. This is probably a growing church that will go through changes as it grows. I think I just miss my old church and my old pastor... The church itself is pretty small, maybe ~150 people can sit in the room, not fancy, simple setting with two lit stained glass "windows" and curtains as the back drop and a low stage very close to the pews. One thing I felt that's great is that it seems the pastor is very personal and you can get the attention if you are in need. I mean you could get to know the pastor in a personal level if you want to. I know that could be hard in a bigger church.
