They do not care about the students well fair, or mental health. They hire inappropriate substitute teachers and everyday teachers. When I say inappropriate I mean lowkey either pedophilia or the teacher doesnt do there job. When My peers or myself would report the teacher or sub it would be taken with a grain of salt and would be ignored. There was a substantial teacher that I had twice, and each time would go up to the boys in my class and start massaging there shoulders and start saying "how's your work going baby?" And would continue to say thing about how they wanted to convince some students in my class into there home. And this substitute is still working there. Another example of a teacher being out of line was a math teacher named br. Burton, who works at skyrdige middle school. He would sit there for the entire class period, and tell everyone about his life. He never taught us the curriculum and would get mad when we would have a class adverage of an F. Again, my peers and me have reported the teachers that have been out of line and it has been ignored. At one point, one of my friends was being bullied and they reported it over and over and it was ignore and that friend almost committed suicide because they where being ignored. It took the person almost committing suicide for the school to do anything about the bullying.

The curriculum and education decisions that this school makes and implements is the best. Reading Without Tears in kindergarten is one of the best ways to help our early readers and I am so thankful that they use this here. Chapel, PE, dance, worship, outdoor play, and small class sizes are all part of the reason for us choosing private school with CCA. The top reason, perpetuating the love of Christ. There are also great ways to connect with other parents. I have joined the book club and I am looking forward to taking the adult hip hop class! Our daughter is thriving in her classroom under her teachers guidance. Overall, this is a great school…read more However, the Board of Directors and head of school just decided to increase tuition by almost double the inflation rate, while simultaneously removing sibling discounts, resulting in year over year tuition increases of almost 25% for a family of three and 34% for a family of four. The justification for such a decision is still really unclear but certainly leaves some serious questions. If you send decide this is the school for you, as we did, just be aware you may be looking at SHARP tuition increases way beyond the normal cost of living.

Being Montessori based, the school focuses on the whole child, which after years of attending public schools has allowed my boys to again love learning. The teachers pay close attention to what makes my children "tick" and the space to make their own discoveries. In doing so, the teachers are giving them the skills to be hard working innovative thinkers in a collaborative environment while still incorporating the state education standards. This school is what school is should be.
