The Waterlase MD high powered laser is used to remove infection-harboring smear from inside of the microscopic pores in the wall of the root canal. (One of the biggest problems with root canals is the possibility of infection lingering and recurring issues.) She and her staff go above and beyond to make sure your treatments are done perfectly and accurately. In addition, the office space is cozy and makes you feel comfortable in an otherwise uncomfortable situation. In the treatment room, there is extra padding/memory foam on the treatment chair and blankets are provided if needed. You leave the the office with a soup or protein shake, anti-inflammatories, and a recipe for later. The office provides bottled waters, hot drinks, and snacks to make sure you and your family have what you need. While these amenities are not necessary, any doctor going above and beyond what is required has my and my family's business.

I have been requesting a refund for an implant that got infected and fell out for 4 years now. I…read morehad an old implant taken out and just wanted bone graft put back in so it would heal properly. Dr Brander insisted that the hole would be big and bone graft wasn't an option and I would need to fill it with a new an implant. I was afraid the wound would get infected and it did. So he filled the hole with bone graft after all. Not only did the implant fall out but the implant next to it got infected along with my gums and had to be removed by another surgeon. The whole surgery cost me $5,000. $3,000 of that was for the new implant that fell out. I have called several times to request a refund and even sent a registered letter asking for a refund due to the fact that I had to pay another surgeon to put a new implant in after the site had property healed. His staff wont even send me an invoice of the surgery. I thought Dr Brander would do the right thing and refund me the cost of the implant but I haven't heard a word from him or his staff. Im very disappointed in the way I've been treated.

The rest of the drilling and filling (though loud) never hurt at all. To me, it's worth going to an endodontist (rather than a dentist) for the reassurance, and Dr. Roy and his staff were totally professional. Read up on the actual procedure if you can stomach it. It helped me to be able to "follow along", and Dr. Roy did a good job of telling me when he hit the milestones. Take advantage of any offered Halcyon sleeping agent. You just float through it. It''s never actually fun to have any sort of dental work, but I had let this thing go for a couple years, and it was causing weekly pain and annoyance. Dr Roy's team took care of it in less than 2 hours and with absolutely zero pain.
