My estimate for this was like $1200. They said my dad needed a "deep cleaning" too and his estimate was a bit less. Look.... If you do actually have periodontal disease you should go as soon as possible to an actual periodontist. These guys are just trying to scare you with talks of heart attacks etc. This is the classic hard sell. These dentists and their accomplice dental assistants are just the worst and they know it's a scam. Seriously, go to a periodontist and deal with this problem if you even actually have it. Also, every tooth cleaning should be a "deep cleaning" That's the whole goddamn point of going to the dentist to have it done. This is the new business model folks. Buyer beware!!!! This is how they price u out of taking care of your teeth.
