Like many of us, over the years I have been part of many churches around the country. However,…read morewithout hesitation I can say that I have never witnessed a church like this one. I started attending three years ago after moving for work to California from back east. With a baptist/nondenominational background, I was profoundly and pleasantly surprised at the refreshing worship filled with intentional liturgy and deep theology. The kids, youth and elderly all worship together, and that sense of community (I can honestly say) continues in people's homes and our daily lives throughout the week. There's a men's night that meets each 4th Friday called Calvin on Tap. Name basically sums it up. If you have ever asked yourself why one should attend church and what purpose the Church plays in our lives or current culture, I would encourage you to visit.

We attended our first Sunday, which also happened to be Super Bowl Sunday, back when we were meeting in a local elementary school. We were invited to a party and we knew almost immediately that this was going to be our church. The kindness, thoughtful teaching, authentic generosity of spirit and joyful welcome we experienced were wonderful - and they loved our kids, too. It's been 5 years now, and I've never been so connected to my church. It is the body of Christ, living together and seeking to love our community as Christ loves us. Whenever we are away, the hardest part is missing time on Sunday - praying together, singing together, repeating the creeds with our children, learning from the word and taking communion together. Sunday is the best day of the week!

On Sunday, August 17, 2025 Crossroads Community Church celebrated its 19th anniversary,…read morecongratulations to them! I was also celebrating my own milestone, one year since I discovered this wonderful church. A year ago, my 7-year-old grandson and I decided to go "church hopping." I was born and raised Catholic, but after one particular Sunday Mass, I felt empty and wanted more. I asked my grandson if he wanted to visit some different churches with me, and he eagerly agreed. When we first pulled up to Crossroads, it looked like they were celebrating something, and I thought it might be too crowded. But my grandson wanted to go inside, so we did. The plan was to continue church hopping the following week, but that day changed everything, we both fell in love with Crossroads. Pastor Todd's message touched me deeply. In just one service, I learned so much and couldn't wait to share it with my family. I felt God so strongly in my heart that I was moved to tears. This church truly reaches people in a powerful way, and from that day forward, we have been coming ever since. Pastor Todd Smith, thank you for your sermons, your guidance, and your heart for God. May He bless you, your family, and all the other pastors at Crossroads. With all my heart, thank you. H & C

The preaching and teaching is unhindered as they represent God's word with accuracy and intimacy. The leadership are transparent in their constant need for our Lord, Jesus Christ and by example encourage others. I saw some other posts disparaging the worship team, but I find the music helpful, uplifting, and encouraging in praising the Lord with my mind, body, and soul I really appreciate the amount of scripture that is included in the songs. I highly recommend this church and I hope to see you there! (I highly recommend to join a midweek Bible study.)
