This is not something a petowner takes lightly and it's a time of great stress. Another neighbour called for his cat and no reply. I've been trying to reach Dr. Seto for months (He usually would get back to me within two days). No response. And no one explains. No one replies to emails. Terrible to see a reputation ruined.

If you have a question about your pet and you're a client of his, he will call you back the same day! Usually within a few hours if it's urgent. I originally brought my 2 sick cats here for a check-up and unfortunately one of them had terminal renal lymphoma. After several days of overnight stay, I was encouraged to take him home and spend quality time with him before he passed away. Because of this recommendation, the fees were incredibly reasonable compared to what I probably could have been sold by "upseller" vets. In the end, I had a few days of quality time with my kitty at home and was spared a hefty vet bill and invasive treatments that would have ultimately done nothing to prevent the inevitable. My other cat was also seen with minor issues and he's thriving at 15 years "young". I was convinced the older was going to die from depression and was so worried about his deteriorating state and then all of a sudden a miracle happened. A tiny absolutely adorbs kitten was brought into our life thanks to Dr. Seto and his crew. I dropped by to buy some cat food and say hi and just passively mentioned that my remaining cat was inactive, stopped grooming and missed his bud. Long story short, they were fostering some kittens and I became the mama to a gorgeous 6 week old Calico!! And they just gave her to me for free?! Now my older senior kitty is happy and healthier than ever and he and the new kitten are cat buds! A match made in heaven. The crew at this vet all care about their animals which is evident from seeing how they occasionally foster rescues free of charge. I am so impressed by my entire experience here thus far. You can tell that people love this place from the reviews and the fact that it's always busy, people coming in and out with their cats and dogs. It's the place to be if you need a vet! Paid street parking.

After everyone said that "it would be incredibly sad to prolong her suffering" the doctor said that she will not help my mother because she didn't want to "extend her working hours" for a procedure that takes what, 15-20 minutes? That can probably be done by a vet technician? This after over 20 years (and multiple animals). I am furious, disgusted, and disappointed. Honestly, you should all be ashamed of yourselves for not giving this precious cat, nor my mother, peace.

(More days, more stars- I'm a tough audience) A few months ago took in my elder cat as she was having issues scratching. She was having a reaction to antibiotics given to her for her sneezing at another vet who I couldn't reach. So I called the newly opened clinic. And, besides, this clinic was just a couple blocks away. She saw Dr Gilmour and he assessed her and gave her steroids -for a short period of time-which stopped the itching. What a relief! Today my younger cat saw Dr. Lipari. Anyone who had been a client at the Animal Health Clinic (in the good old days) would recognize her as Vicky who had been a tech. She gave my cat loads of attention and she, the cat, was thankfully OK- her eye issues seem to be due to allergies most probably, nothing inherently wrong. Her eye pressure was taken, and her blood pressure (anything cuter than seeing the little band on the arm?). Chloe the tech helped and was a pleasure. (Not to be confused with Chloe who is a receptionist and great at getting back to you.) The clinic is lovely and neutral and calming. Highly recommend.

I took my cat there three times and each time she would jerk her hand away from my cat when he resisted being examined. To be fair, he's an obstinate kitty but he's 100% not vicious. His claws are trimmed (by me) and he nips a bit. I would understand an average person being cautious, but a vet reacting by jumping away? Not cool. Every time I went, she tried to convince me to sedate him. And every time my cat was more afraid. I also find that they are very quick to additional tests and treatments. My cat is energetic and playful, his coat is healthy, he eats well, is a healthy weight and stays indoors. Because she couldn't examine his teeth, she recommended I have him sedated to get X-rays and a teeth cleaning (even though from what she did see his teeth were ok). It all felt excessive and I eventually went to another vet who knew how to handle my cat better and took a less invasive approach. Maybe we just had different life/medical philosophies but I wouldn't recommend this for a cat with any spunk unless you don't mind medicating for each trip.
