I really wanted this review to be four stars especially since Omar is a friend of a friend…read more I asked Omar to create bouquets for my wedding. I had brought pictures of the bouquets that I wanted and showed him pictures of boutonniere for the men. I had asked for blush pink peony bouquets for myself and deep pink peony bouquets for my bridesmaids and flower girls. What I got were white peonies sprayed with floral paint in bright neon pink. The same floral paint was used on the flowers of immediate family members and the spray rose boutonnieres for the groom, groomsmen, ring bearers were wilting. I wanted to cry because everything was going wrong at that point and the flowers were just a disaster. I had so much faith in Omar and he let me down. I called Omar trying hard to hold back my tears. I told him that the flowers looked nothing like the pictures I showed him. That I couldn't use them for my wedding because they looked terrible. There was no time for him to commute from the city to Queens to fix my flowers. I asked him for a refund because the flowers were wilting and the petals were starting to fall off. He called my husband later and told him that he would give us a full refund. We were lucky to find a florist inside the mall next to our wedding studio. They had to throw away 75% of the peonies and replaced them with their own. They did a fantastic job but my bouquet did not look anything like the pictures. I did get a full refund from Omar after the wedding. He's a good florist but I would not suggest you go to him for a big wedding. My peonies had to be ordered directly from a wholesaler but he did not order them in time and picked up white peonies from a local flower market the day before and he sprayed them pink the night before.

This morning I found them in Yelp. I am not sure I had the correct business name. There's lots of Christmas Stores in this hood. To go back to why we visited the business, we had time to kill between lunch and our matinee. My daughter can't pass up browsing through these stores. Like she doesn't have enough decorations. The employees greeted us as we entered. It's nice to see a smiling face. There's so much cute merchandise it's hard to look up as you enter. I saw the voice in back behind a counter. An extra star for friendly staff. The store is clean and neat. Just enough merchandise that you would find what you desire without being overwhelmed with decisions. I took a few photos.
