Teachers wouldn't let my kid go get water sports programs are horrible most of them are practice all the time my kid cant do this teachers are horrible the amount of drugs going on in this school is wild and teachers let it happen freely don't go to this school save your 12,000 a year and get your kid a better education not to mention the entire building is about to fall down this school get 1,000 a month from kids plus mandatory fundraisers and cant afford to fix holes in wall get new Chromebook which cant even get basic work done st mikes is promising stuff that will never happen my kid had to pay 12 dollars for lunch! this school is not worth the hassle or money so don't send your kid here fidn somewhere else this school is embarising to say I sent my kid there. read more

Staff leaving mid year, including President, teachers and others. Very bad experience with the 7th and 8th grade girls coaching staff. School did a very poor job of trying to work with us as parents to look into or resolve. This including the coaches and Athletic Director. Upper management staff never got back to us over our concerns. Finally decided to move our daughter out of the school and transfer her out midyear. This is the most well-rounded and best valued school in Santa Fe. It is the only faith-based school in Santa Fe and offers extraordinary college prep academics, has THE best athletics department in northern NM, and the most qualified, caring, and enthusiastic faculty (as a whole) of any school north of Albuquerque. Ive sent two kids through St. Mikes and hosted four exchange student who have all gone there and have always been impressed by the accountability, safety, preparation, and care for the students both academically, spiritually, and morally. They care, and they show it. If you want your student to be flat out prepared for college and earn a scholarship, send them here. Its a no-brainer. It is hard to put into words how great this school is. The community of Saint Michael's are amazing. Well rounded education, very inclusive and diverese. The staff never stops making this school incredible. You can feel it when you walk in these doors. Fantastic clubs, sports, education, and so much more. Faith based is very broad . All my children come home talking about the theory of evolution teaching and very non-Christian teachings being discussed. They require uniforms but walk in and look at the lengths of skirts, half these girls may as well be in their underwear or look like they spray painted their pants on. Also for the amount of money I pay, the inside of the school is extremely outdated and ceremonies are held in a tiny gym with NO air! They offer plenty of sports but if your a hard working busy parent with no time to be constantly volunteering , "praising" the coaches, and being apart of their sport family circle, your child doesn't have a chance at being recognized or praised, in fact they'll barely get play time. Its not enough that your paying thousands, now help get more money for our activities. Constantly being emailed for help or donations. It's becoming a bit irritating. I will say their principle is very kind as well as the majority of their staff. It's a far better school than public but as you read, their is room for improvement. read more

Our son is currently a senior at St Michael's. He has been attending this school since 7th grade. We have been extremely satisfied with his education and overall happiness while attending St Mike's. He has been challenged academically, and was well prepared for the national college entrance exams. The athletic programs are great, as well as other extracurricular clubs/activities offered. read more
