I hesitate to write a review because my words won't do it justice. This is a small private school affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. It offers daycare, preschool and grades kindergarten to eighth. There are about 100 children in K-8. One classroom per grade! It feels like a family. The teachers are kind and caring. No child feels overlooked or left out. The tuition is VERY reasonable and scholarships are available. Besides core classes the students take Spanish, Bible, computers, gym, art and music. Each day begins with prayer. Every Friday the students attend chapel. New construction and expansion is planned this year (2016) as the church adds infant care to its day care services. This will also being improvements to the school such as the addition of a band room as well as locker rooms off the gym. Recently the school's kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Brenda Heintz, was featured on a Grand Rapids TV news broadcast. She won the WGVU Cool Teacher Award.
