And the kennel techs Layla and Aliyah obviously love animals, they were just as sad to see him go as I felt dropping him off. For the first time in his 8 year life he was excited to see vet staff. He started throwing up after eating and they called me and the emergency number I left. When I brought him in to the vet another occasion the techs and assistants remembered him (who aren't part of boarding) he got lots of pets and love. The vet herself was extremely patient and kind and dumbed down things for me. *MAINLY* my boy is reactive and they made sure that he wouldn't have to be in the lobby with other animals. I beyond reccomend this facility, it is full of knowledgeable and caring professionals.

He was 14 years old, and we decided just to love him and keep him safe and happy during his time left. On Christmas Eve day, he let us know it was time. Of course, his timing didn't match up with holidays. Our normal vet was closed, and although we love Blue Pearl, that wasn't what I wanted for him. I found the card, and called. Dr Hall answered our calls with dignity and respect, even on a holiday. They came to our house, and spent some time getting to know us and DonDon. And gave us the time we needed to say goodbye. DonDon was very well cared for, and while my wife and I were at our absolute worst with crying and despair, Dr Hall and her assistant were absolutely wonderful. We love our vet, but we found a new love for another here in Lawrence. Great people...and outstanding mobile service. Thank you, Dr Hall.
