If you're looking for a new parish home or want to see one of the beautiful churches in the south side of Milwaukee, I urge you to check St. Anthony's out. I especially love the main altar, the side altars and the shrine dedicated to St. Anthony complete with his relic. There is a 12 noon Mass in English for those looking for a daily Mass in the middle of the day. Parking during the weekday can be difficult but there is metered parking nearby.

Things I Like About This High School's Programs-…read more They offer all types of classes, for any people of any age. Anything from cooking to sports to swimming. My daughter takes infant swim classes here, they start at 6 months. I also lap swim here occasionally. The teachers here are attentive and well prepared. They fill up the half hour with a good variety of games and exercises. The lifeguards are always on point. The other workers are kind and happy to answer any questions. The pool and locker rooms are clean. The front desk is filled with drinks and snacks for sale in case you work up an appetite. 8 Weekly Infant Swim Classes cost a measly $26 for residents, and about $10 more for non-residents. All the classes are pretty cheap. A Thing That Mildly Annoys Me About This Swim Class- This class started with about 25 kids. About half fell off after Week 2. Now, just after Week 6, there is only 4 kids left. I not only paid for this class to get the Little One used to the water, but also to meet other kids and maybe get some play dates. C'mon, parents, keep the kids in class! Things I Hate About This High School's Programs- We're going into the Seventh Week this week. We paid for 8, and the instructor tells us we have two more classes, but the people at the desk tells us next week is the last week no matter what. Can we get on the same page please? I like to take a lot of pictures and videos of my daughter as I try to chronicle her life. There happens to be a woman in our class who must wear a string bikini to every class. I know she's worked very hard to get a nice body six months after childbirth and normally I would be like any other red-blooded male in this World and not mind it at all. But I'll be damned if this woman does not walk into every shot and photobomb every picture. I'm just a guy with a summer sausage in his Speedo short of my daughters baby movies being MC Hammer's "Pumps and a Bump" video. http://youtu.be/Vk1YtbkZTqc Take some classes here. It's worth it!

Wow, what an absolutely gorgeous church…read more I attended a lovely wedding here over the weekend, and was blown away upon arriving. The entrance steps lead up to three large archways and as soon as you get into the cathedral it's impossible not to notice the entire place covered in beautiful, Byzantine-style mosaics. Every inch of the walls and ceiling is extensively detailed and elaborate in colors and designs. Apparently it took over 35 years to complete! It's certainly spacious inside as well, offering plenty of seating for mass or ceremonies. Additional seating is on the upper level, but during my visit it that area was occupied by the church's wonderful choir who sang for the wedding. I can't speak to the history or Serbian community that regularly occupies St Sava, but I just had to be sure to share my awe in the architecture!
