The place seemed to have a bit of an identity crisis with a separate pottery painting area in the back, but I suppose that's only practical to make multiple uses of the space given this historic core of Altoona seems to have fallen on hard times and doesn't have much going for it. The iced mocha (3.5/5) I got was decent with only minor hints of bitterness, but was otherwise quite average. I'm happy to round up as the service was pleasant and I'm happy to support a small local business. I'd recommend The Clay Cup to those looking for a decent coffee shop in downtown Altoona.

The kids seem to love it and so do I, since I'm packing less lunches and saving money! The staff is great and I must say I'm very pleased with how the year is going so far. We heard horror stories about middle school and bullying. I think the teachers and staff have an excellent anti bullying program in place. And overall just a great group of kids in the 5th grade who are, for the most part, kind to each other. Homework has been pretty light and typically none is given over the wknd. Looking forward to the remainder of the school year.

There are plenty of fun and free activities for kids of all ages including passing, catching, running obstacle courses. Past football greats are available for pictures and autographs. Always a fun time meeting Steelers greats! The volunteer staff is always friendly and helpful with any questions you may have. I love the "behind the scenes" look at the future team's talent. You really get to see all the hard work that goes into the games on Sundays. After practice the kids and adults to gather around the practice fields to get a glimpse of the players up close and if you're lucky enough you may get a few autographs to make your experience that much better! It's also cool to interact with fellow Steelers fans that visit from all over the world, it's unbelievable the passion of Steelers Nation! Overall, SFU is a great place for students to get an excellent education if you can afford their tuition. My favorite professor was a professor of the Franciscan Theology program. However, the students are not kind at all. I went to SFU for the 2023 fall semester and half of the 2024 Spring semester (I had to leave due to personal reasons). If you aren't overly religious, super conservative, a part of athletics (not esports, though, because you will get harassed for being on the esports team), or a part of Greek life, you will be treated horribly by most of the student body. I am 23 years old with a son, and many people thought I was trash for being at the university--especially two girls who were the president of the Pro-life club on campus.

This school ruined my life. First off, I was bullied so badly that kids were literally throwing…read moregarbage at me and even telling me no one cared about me or what I even had to say. I would complain about this issue and the principal actively chose not to help me and thought it was better to blame everything on me. I was also sexually assaulted for months by a classmate and I was blamed for that too and I have the papers still that even say that I was the cause of the bullying and sexual assault. I was terrified of certain classmates because of the assaults and I was told it was my fault. They did nothing to help me move on from this traumatic experience and they definitely never told me my rights as a victim. Now the school district acts like they care about their students and about bullying and teen suicide. They don't. They are just doing it because they want to look good in society's eyes. They didn't care that I became extremely depressed because of the bullying I was receiving or that I was considering to end it all. I even had an extremely noticeable cry for help one day in class and literally no one noticed that I was ready to hurt myself but I couldn't do it. I am very ashamed to be a graduate from this horrible school district. I made it out barely alive and basically had a complete mental meltdown two weeks after I graduated and still need intense therapy just to be able to move on. I can never get those four years of my life back and I can't even get justice for myself at this point.
