my daughter was going through some mental health issues and she just had a breakdown and couldn't…read morego through with finishing her summer school and we tried to get a medical withdrawal and they come back with saying that she already had a grade in school so they can't approve the medical withdrawal form even after we had physical proof from her doctor so we are still supposed to pay the full tuition which was only supposed to be $490 which I already paid $355 and I set up payment arrangements and agreed to paying this amount and then a week later they're saying oh and there's an out of county tuition fee of $1900 and they put that right in with my agreement and they were going to take out $2000 all at once without even calling me talking to me about it so they're not very good at their communication skills or letting people know the proper fees at the time of your set up agreement and if you do have mental health, I really don't know how to help you to get medical withdrawal forms if you need them because they don't want to approve anything

They used to work around student schedules but now students have to work around them to a great inconvenience. Student orientation has been reduced greatly and they are doing everything wrong as far as attracting prospective students. (I was an orientation leader.) Students are generally treated like high schoolers but it wasn't always this way. I really wish the Community college I knew from 2013 would come back.

If you aren't overly religious, super conservative, a part of athletics (not esports, though, because you will get harassed for being on the esports team), or a part of Greek life, you will be treated horribly by most of the student body. I am 23 years old with a son, and many people thought I was trash for being at the university--especially two girls who were the president of the Pro-life club on campus.

California University of Pennsylvania, or Cal U as it is known commonly may be one of the smaller of the state universities, but it is one of the more close knit of the state universities. Like the university, the town is small. But that means you will get to know the area fairly quickly and just where to go to get the right things you need. Since I have graduated this have changed a bit on campus. But that doesn't mean it changed so dramatically that you cannot navigate the campus. New buildings have gone up and the old ones have been remodeled to sustain the culture of the university. Hail to Cal U, or as the locals call it, Harvard on the Mon.

The professors are always there to help you no matter what you need and the employees are very friendly. Penn highlands is a very safe place to go to school, and you will get a good quality education. The tuition is affordable (although I am there on a full ride) and the class sizes are perfect. The credits from penn highlands are very credible and transfer to other universities very well. I am studying early childhood education and am transferring for special education and my entire degree will transfer to my university without a problem. Now the bookstore prices are beyond outrageous and their employees are not the most friendly, but the college is great!
