Everything about Fort Ligonier is incredible! When you first walk in, you check in at the admission counter and get a sticker for your admission. On the left is the George Washington gallery that has interesting artifacts like Washington's pistol from Marquis de Lafayette. There is also an art gallery. Artifacts are clearly labeled and well described, but if you want to dig in deeper, they offer guided tours at various points throughout the day. Even if there isn't a guided tour, the docents stationed throughout love talking about anything you have questions about. On the right hand side is the history gallery which takes you through life at the fort and a history of the area. So much to see and you haven't even ventured to the fort yet! When you decide to see the fort, you meander up a path with lots to see. Recreated cannons and guns, fortifications and guard towers. Once you get to the main area, there are several buildings that you can go in to to get a better sense of what daily life was like at the fort. On select days, they even have costumed interpreters on site to give demonstrations and provide additional insight and history. They are also currently doing some archeological digging to learn even more about the site. It is really neat to think that research is still ongoing after all these years. This is a top notch experience and I highly recommend everyone take the time to come and experience it.

The center seems to be always closed for staff shortages, COVID and/or COVID quarantine. It's also closed for other random issues as well. Yet, we still have to pay the full tuition. My main issue is reliability, which I feel it is completely not.

The teacher Mrs Marie was knowledgeable, very professional and very patient. all I can say is....WOW... I couldn't be happier with the result. Rebekah should be so proud of herself. Her precision, attention to detail, and patience blew me away. If anything, I just hope she steps into her confidence even more because her talent is undeniable. As a young girl I attended this church several times per week until I left home as an adult. I keep…read moremy membership alive, even though I have lived hours away. My Mom was an active member of this church for more years than I can count. My fondest memories now are of the mother and daughter banquets held in the church basement and of one Sunday school teacher who also sold shoes and tried to get all of us into talking our mom's into buying shoes from him. Praise the lord! My Mom recently passed on and it was her wishes to be cremated with no prior viewing and for no funeral services. She did say that we were not to mourn her death but to celebrate her life. We called the church and said that we would like to have a celebration memorial service for my mom. They were so much help and so kind in putting this together for us. The ladies of the church all called and said please let us do all the cooking and wow did they ever cook! The Pastor held a very informal service where he allowed anyone who wanted to get up and tell stories of their memories of mom. What started as tears quickly turned to laughter. My mom was very much loved by many and well over one hundred people showed up for the service. Thank you Rev. Jeff and ladies of the church, it's exactly the way Mom would have wanted it.

This church is very good at encouraging people to find their niche and serve Christ. I, along with my husband served as Youth Directors and Sunday School teachers, I also served as Vice President of the U.M.W, and secretary of the Administrative Board. Because of our involvement with the youth of the church, we were called to served as camp counselors at Camp Allegheny. My husband was called to be the first lay person to direct a Camp for youth and I served as Secretary of the Board of Directors of Camp Allegheny. This church encouraged our service beyond the church. We were nurtured in their Sunday School classes, as were our children. Our grandson attended Nursery School at Bethany. I highly recommend this church to anyone looking for a nurturing, disciple making church. I am an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church largely because of the spiritual gifts and graces I was encourged to develope as a growing Christian at Bethany.

We learned a ton and now know how to shuck oysters. The space is gorgeous and they have a cute gift shop plus a lot of sample granite/quartz/butcher block, since that is Vangura's main business. The venue did not try to push sales of their products at all. We were there for the event and it was fantastic. It is BYOB as well. We will be signing up for future classes.
