Dr Spangenberg is thoughtful, caring, respectful and a very thorough doctor. I went to her after spending a few years with another doctor who never did tests or looked into my problems. Dr Spangenberg immediately sent me for an ultrasound and blood work and then when the results came in referred me to a specialist. My husband and I are convinced that she saved my life. The specialist wondered why I had waited so long to see him. I waited so long because my previous doctor never took the time to look into what was ailing me. I ended up with surgery and am happy to say am in very good health right now. I wish her new office was closer because I would definitely go to her. Another thing, her nurse and staff were a good reflection of Dr. Spangenberg.

Recently, I went in to receive results from a blood draw and when the doctor entered (after I had waited 30 minutes to see her), she stated that the results of the bloodwork were not yet in and she would have to call me about it another time. No problem, I thought...... UNTIL I received a BILL for $78 for this visit!!! I spoke with the manager and she absolutely held to me having to pay this ridiculous fee for an unnecessary trip to the doctor. I believe that this facility is a mess and they should be able to at least give their clients a warning before giving them a bill for a visit that didn't give any new information.....

I called after receiving a bill, the front desk girl stated she would fix the order that she sending the claims which I found at some point she never sent them. By the time I asked her for the claims so could send them myself the time expired for this. She was horrible insurance coordinator and I spoke with doctor she had an attitude and accuse me of lying saying I never called and spoke with her. I never went back I only like going to her because of her sister who worked the front desk but then it changed to the other lady who didn't know what she was doing. I tried to give it a chance when first met the doctor she was cold and very unprofessional with an incompetent staff. Experience was horrible and I immediately started seeing another doctor soon realized that other doctors and their staff are compassionate toward patients instead blaming them for getting illnesses. In the mean time I had to fill out some forms since I had not been to see him in three years. One form stated that if I did not inform his office 24 hours before if I had to cancel an appointment I would be charged $85. I told the receptionist that since the Doctor did not give me 24 hours of "his" cancellation he owed me $85. She said I was 100% right but good luck getting it out of him. On next appointment I was told he was running late and I would have to reschedule or wait. I told her this appointment was a reschedule so I waited for two hours. I told him about the l are charge and about the waiting for two hours but he did not seemed to care. He does not care for his patients at all.
