Greatest school in the area! Teachers are loving, caring, and experienced. Kids are valued individually. Best school for my daughter!

I cannot even begin to explain the anxiety I had trying to figure out where I can put my son for preschool. Having just moved to the Inland Empire area, I wasn't very familiar with the school system but living in an area where the schools are 9/10 top in the state, it still "public" schooling. My child would still be one of many at that school, will he even be noticed? Will a teacher ever contact me if they suspect something? With everything I have been hearing and seeing about public schools these days, those were all valid feelings I had. I was searching for months as to which school my son would start in. Then I heard about New Dimensions from a neighbor and decided to attend their open house. OMG! I LOVED ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE FROM THE STAFF TO THE PARENTS WHOSE KIDS ALREADY GO THERE. Their curriculum is really advanced and my child being a student there for 2 years now has grown drastically compared to others his age. I really do think it has a lot to do with this school. The fact that everyone there knows my 5 year old by name is amazing to me. The comfort of the family environment is everything, and the personalized attention he gets...I literally get texts from his teachers of cute pictures of activities he did that day or how he excelled in one particular task. Being an involved parent is extremely important to me and this school makes that sooooooooooo much easier and more pleasant. Any concern I would voice about my son (i.e. he still sucks his thumb) they would literally work on the next day. He came home smiling saying GUESS WHAT MOM I NO LONGER NEED TO SUCK MY THUMB BECAUSE I'M SAFE AT SCHOOL. You can't imagine the joy this brought me. I could go on and on but if you ever have any doubt or want to know anything about this amazing school...please feel free to ask me...yes I love the school that much!

I felt for the teachers that really did their best to provide a positive and educational place for the kids . Those great teachers were surrounded by grumpy and rude individuals who were better off not being around children at all . I kept my daughter there because we had just moved and I felt she needed the stability and she enjoyed the several good teachers as well as the friends she made . There was one situation in particular that really hurt my husband though . He went to pick up my daughter (his step daughter that he has known since she was about 1 1/2 ) as I waited in the car with our son . My daughter ran up to my husband gave him a hug and said let's go . One of the teachers approached him and said you aren't her dad and to go into the office , IN FRONT OF MY DAUGHTER ! I COULDNT BELIEVE IT . Keep in mind my daughters biological father has never even stepped foot onto the school . It was absolutely disgusting and very hurtful . Fast forward to Covid .... radio silence from the school . Not a email , letter in the mail , nothing . Come to find out the school has closed for good . I found that out through a parent I ran into . Again not a word from the school . I'm absolutely appalled by all of this . The pastor of this church needs to really check themselves , their spirit , and their career path . When you have put yourself in the position as a pastor you automatically are put to a higher standard .LIVE UP TO IT !

However Ms. Yolanda - whom my daughter affectionately called 'teacher' sometimes - and her staff, were very patient with my daughter. Despite my daughter's neurodivergent traits, her classmates would always greet her with joy, and to me, that's a sign of good students having good teachers who teach them how to be kind and understanding human beings. Communicating with Ms. Yolanda is also a breeze for all you worried parents out there. If you're looking for a God-centered school that prepares your kids for the next step, DCP is for you!

I can only give 5 stars but if I could...I would give a million!…read more My 2.5-year-old had never been to daycare or preschool before, and I was nervous about sending her since she had never really been away from us. But she was begging me to start going somewhere regularly to see friends. She's incredibly social and was craving that connection. I searched everywhere for a preschool that aligned with our values: * Christ-centered * Clean * Beautiful campus * Loving, small environment I wanted to feel as safe and settled as possible, knowing my child would be in caring hands. That's when I found Discovery Christian Preschool (DCP). They checked every single box at first glance. We've been part of the DCP family for about six months now, and unfortunately, we're having to leave only because of the distance. When I first signed my daughter up, I was freshly postpartum and didn't fully realize just how far the drive would be from our home in DTLA (yes, an hour each way!). But even so, we kept her enrolled because we loved the school so much. During her time here, my daughter enjoyed plenty of playtime with friends, great outdoor time, the most creative crafts, and a nurturing environment that made her excited to return every day. She would end the day saying, "I want to go back to school!" She absolutely thrived. This summer, DCP went above and beyond with an amazing summer program -- water days, snowcones, and a fun spirit week where she got to dress up in the best themed outfits. DCP has been such a God-given gift to our family. Miss Yolanda is a bright light -- the most caring director, who truly loves these children as if they were her own. Her passion for early education and her heart for kids are unmatched. And her teachers (shoutout to Miss Jean!) are so so attentive and amazing with all of the children. I'm heartbroken to leave due to the commute, but so grateful for these past six months. DCP is truly one-of-a-kind, and we will miss it deeply.
