The photo used for St. Marks is outdated. This is now the office entrance, the Church entrance now faces North. It has been renovated. This is a very easy to park and enter Church. Ample amount of parking, with handicapped spaces both sides of the main entrance. The neighborhood is very safe, the Church does have a security guard for all three of Sunday services. As for entering the Church, there are no stairs which is a welcome relief to many . This church does not have pews, and the worship area is all one flat level with the alter sitting atop two stairs in an area centralized to the church. The statues are outdated which add to a quirky charm. The renovations are modern but classic. The sermons are low key, and pleasant. Fr. Kenneth Koelher is nearing his 75th year of life and was ordained in 1972 so it will be a sad day when he retires which hopefully will not happen sooner than later. Just caution if you assume there is a confession on Saturday afternoon weekend of Easter-think again, there will not be a sign posting no confession, there will not be a confession offered and you will sit there waiting and waiting until you give up and are forced to go to Nativity of Our Lord in Broomfield because they have confessions one half an hour before all Sunday Masses even on Easter, making you miss your Easter Service at St Marks. Hopefully this Church will do diligence and update their bulletin reflecting exact changes for their parish members especially during Holiday times. read more
