I had bad phone experiences with this facility not once but more than once because when I call them…read moreI sit on hold for about 20 mins then they say you can call back at a latter time so I do that than I am still on hold for the same amount before.I called on May 29th 2026 when this happened because I tried to get hold of Doctor to see why he cancelle my medication.Then mang. called be back on this problem one other time and she said we are trying fix this but it didn't fix this problem.So if you want to be on hold for a long period of time then this is office for you.Not for me I gave this office to many chances so I am thinking of changing my location to anthor office.Another reason they don't think of this that if you have a care taker working with a home patient(s) and you have to get hold of there Dr.(s) and you are on hold for more than 5 mins that's calle abandonment.So if this office is short staff than my suggestion than call Temp Agent for Help they would gladley send some help to the office.

I…read morespoke with her PSC and was told that Laura would need to review my information to see if I would be a good fit with her. I was then asked why I was wanting to change to a different PCP. I was honest with my answer. I then was told that if I didn't hear back in the next few days to call back. I ended up calling 3 different times to get this answer. Today was the 3rd time. I was put on hold so that her PSC could get an answer. I was told "Laura said no. She said that i wasn't going to be a good fit. This answer was based on my answer that i gave as to why I was looking for a new PCP. I have never had any negative interactions with my PCP. This was soley based on my personal feelings about the care I had been receiving. I was told that Laura practices the exact same way. That does not speak highly of her as a professional in her field!!! I was so upset when I got off the phone!! I did my research on providers, read their reviews, before I contacted them. For those patients who have positive experiences with her, I am really glad for you. But to be rejected by a provider based on wanting better care for myself is not ok!!! So to any potentially new patients who are looking to become established with her be very careful when you are asked why you are looking for a different provider!!!! Honesty may not be the best policy for you!!!

My mother had been previously treated for an infection that required antibiotics, and after taking…read morethe full course of medicine, she needed another prescription. I took her here on Christmas Eve during business hours. Because she'd just been there last week, they said she didn't need to see a doctor, and said they would call a prescription to Walmart pharmacy across the street for her. We went to Walmart about half an hour later, and not only had the pharmacy never received a fax or phone call about the prescription, but the tech called Walgreens and the other Walmart to make sure it hadn't been sent to the wrong pharmacy, to no avail. We tried calling the office, but as it was just after business hours and there was no answer. Because my mother's problem isn't severe enough to merit a visit to the ER, she just has to suffer in discomfort all weekend until she can get to her regular physician. While we appreciate the not having to see a doctor to get a prescription refilled (which gives them the second star), we would have really appreciated if they'd have followed through before closing up shop and going home for the holidays. Unfortunately, this means that Christmas is going to be a little less merry and bright this year.

Got seen by Dr Bhavya Akhouri for GI issues. Saw her mainly because she was a female despite there…read morebeing experienced and better doctors like Chepyala. She was totally clueless about my condition despite many visits. In the end she said she didn't know what I had. It couldn't be anything else and it couldn't be IBS. She had no answers for me. Oh and the colonoscopy she did, was so very painful. She seems to have absolutely no experience at all, I awoke during the procedure despite being sedated due to the pain and realized the nurses were pushing top down on my colon because it was too inflated by what Akhouri was doing incorrectly. I found myself pushing downward with my hands as well. It was intensely painful despite sedation and I have given birth with no pain relief as well. *Here's the ICING on the cake*: After the various fruitless appointments and no answers from Akhouri my PCP referred me to university of Iowa with a specialist for suspected Pancreas issues. Akhouri found out about this appointment (for which I waited 2 months with severe digestive issues) and Sent them an email that I didn't need that appointment because she thought I didn't have pancreatic problems (without any scans or tests). The specialist refused to see me and the appointment was cancelled without my knowledge. Later Akhouri's nurse calls me up to have me book more appointments with her telling me that I have GI issues and I must be seen, I could sense her panic that I was leaving their service to be seen elsewhere. Very dishonest, unethical business practices. I wouldnt touch her with a 10 feet pole if possible. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND DR BHAVYA AKHOURI.

***Haven't actual had my appointment yet, so this isn't based upon any procedure by any of the…read morephysicians.** I'm only 23, but after being on several medications for depression/anxiety, with horrible side effects, I've been experiencing HORRIBLE digestive problems. I'm not going to go into detail, but it has been a life altering. My physician & psychiatrist both suggested me to make an appointment here, since the symptoms are getting worse and worse, and nothing else is seeming to work. I found this a little odd, a colonoscopy at 23?! I had never heard of it. But both my dad, and doctors insisted on this being scheduled, after a year of pain, to make sure there wasn't anything seriously wrong with my digestive system. So I submitted the form on line (was a little embarrassed) and got a pleasant voice mail from one of the receptionists. I forgot to call back & I received a letter in the mail notifying me that I needed to call back and make an appointment. So I did, and wow what a bad idea! I left a message and then got a call back right away from a woman named 'Tanya' a receptionist or something along those lines. She was one of thee RUDEST people I have ever spoken with over the phone, ever. I felt like I had done something wrong by calling. "YOU DO NOT NEED A COLONOSCOPY AT 23!!!" I was super polite and tried to explain the situation and my doctors referrals, but she just continued to make me feel like a complete idiot for calling. She said (in a snotty tone), "Ugh, I'll have to talk to one of the doctors to even see if you can get a pre-apt because I think you've gotten confused this is unnecessary. I'll call you back" Tanya are you one of the physicians here? If so please explain in more detail and what other options there are. I could not believe this. And I am from LA and am VERY USED to poor customer service. And to think she probably speaks with many older people is terrifying. She did call back and give me an appt. with Dr. Silber , in 2 months. We'll see how that goes, but hopefully it does not involve dealing with Ms. Tanya ever again!

I use MercyCare South for my yearly flight physical/medical and also for random medical needs…read more(sinus infections, etc.). They are typically fast and ready to help - some times the wait can be long, but no worse than any other doctor's office. Recommended.
