I went in to see the doctor at Mercycare Marion because my doctor did not have any appointments available. I was seen by a doctor that took less than 5 minutes to assess me, said she was sending me for an x-ray because I had decreased breath sounds. She said she would call me with the results that day or the next one after results were read. NO PHONE CALL CAME. Two days after I called and said they posted the results in my-chart. I should just take some over the counter meds. I called my doctor (who works for Mercy), she got me in, and was ASTOUNDED that they didn't take any other tests and I ended up needing prednisone and antibiotics to clear things up. VERY disappointing service. read more

Also and not a single listing has the true correct hours shown of what they really are. Please have continuity between your Facebook, Google, and Website so those from out of town can actually figure out how to determine what your open for business hours. read more

We took our client here at urgent care for concerns. Her Doctor is here as well. The staff came out to tell us they were closed. We came back the next day and they remembered us and the other staff knew our client and were visibly concerned for her. The staff were so wonderful spoke to me and then to our client and spent time with her and showed her so much compassion it was unbelievable! Thank you Mercy for the Mercy Touch read more

This is literally the WORST PLACE EVER. The Urgent care is an absolute joke. I went in for a UTI, they ignored it because "nothing was wrong" even though my lab and urine suggested otherwise. it ended up turning into a full blown Kidney infection that almost hospitalized me. They don't care about the patients at all, they just rush them out the door and don't even care if they get proper care. The staff that checks you in are rude, the nurses are rude and the doctors are not much better. I will drive to the other side of town before I give this place my business ever again. read more

I transferred care here from Mount Vernon when I moved to Marion. This clinic is only 5 minutes from my house and I was looking forward to the convenience and easy access to care. The first time I called the clinic to set up care, I was transferred to a very rude man who takes calls for the doctor I was to see Jennifer Clarke. I tried to explain what I wanted and needed from the appointment but apparently failed because when I got there they had no idea why I was there exactly or why I needed to be seen, even though I had explained it in detail. I have seen a psychiatrist for over a year now and missed an appointment, because of this I was discharged from care, this is the dr who prescribes all my meds. I have multiple mental health problems and as most people know when you are on an antidepressant it is not a great idea to go off cold turkey. I called my doctor to try to get a refill on my meds and was told to go to the abbe center instead. When I couldn't get an appointment with a psychiatrist till June they told me to call my doctor back and ask for the refill again. I did and was treated extremely rudely and basically made to feel like I was seeking meds or something when all I am trying to do is not go off my meds cold turkey. They just called me back to tell me she decided she wants to see me before June. Which is what I called for originally was to get an appointment with her. Very unhappy with this clinic. I do not recommend this place or Jennifer Clark. I would switch if my insurance allowed me to. read more

I contacted the office to request an appt. to get a physical as a new patient with Dr. Hubble. It took well over a week for me to "be approved" and the appointment was scheduled another week out for for 2.26 I mistakenly put the appt. on my calendar for 2.27, and showed up early as requested. I was informed of my mistake by the receptionist, and she volunteered to go to the back and ask if I could reschedule? Upon return, I was told that I "missed my opportunity and that Dr. Hubble would not allow me to reschedule". I guess I missed the part of it being a privilege to be seen by a Dr. for a check-up that I am paying for. Last time I checked, that her occupation, correct? I find it ridiculous that a potential new patient waits a week to "be approved", then another week for an appt. to get a simple physical/check-up. Yes, it was my mistake to miss the original appt., but if this is what I can expect from Mercy Care Dr.'s, I will be moving my family to St. Luke's for all care going forward. I have changed to Mercy from being a St Luke's/Unity Point person my entire life. I never thought I would, but have. It is so refreshing to be treated with respect and valued. I started going to Mercy urgent care due to the wait times at Unity point urgent care....never less than 1.5 hrs and had waited up to 4hrs to be seen. Average 2.5-3, never less. I was wasting my life in their waiting rooms and exposing myself and family to unlimited germs and disease. I get in and out very quickly and have never been in the office for the total visit more than 1 hr, typically it is 30 mins. eArrival just makes it even better. Unity point posts wait times on their sites.....Mercy has eArrival to schedule your appointment ahead of time.....it is a no brainer! My husband, daughter, granddaughter, grandson, sister and family as well as my Mother have all changed for the same reasons. read more

What a disappointing visit today at Mercy Care in Marion, Iowa. I went in for one thing and then was surprised they knew I had gone to a St. Luke's provider. I told them I changed to that office because my insurance changed and I wasn't happy with the PA I was seeing at Mercy. Just know they know what you are seen for every doctors office you go and what every doctor prescribes. I waited 30 minutes to get into the room and after the nurse took all info from me it took another 20 minutes before the doctor came in. The doctor must have been researching my file. I left feeling Why did I come here. Don't make the same mistake I did. Mercy reigns here just know that and they will treat you very badly read more
