The drug reps also seem to like him, as he's got a sample of everything...great when you're trying different drugs trying to find a good combination to fix you. Downside (or maybe an upside, I guess) is that his billing people are forever slow. Four months after my first appointment, they had never billed me for what was left after insurance. I finally asked about it and they printed me a statement. I guess he doesn't really need the money. :-p. I just don't like having a pile of medical bills...who knows if they'll just forget to bill me one day and turn it over to collections since it's so old.

I have been a patient of a fabulous and detailed-oriented Dr (Dr Bahar Jahanbin) and other drs in the practice. Everyone is truly amazing. It does get busy there, so I wanted to be seen sooner (as I was seen at LVHN Express Care last Thursday for a fall. I decided to book my appt. with Dr Ahluwalia in Northampton this morning. I was extremely fortunate to schedule an 8:20 am appointment at his office for today. Shay (reception/registration, etc.) was incredibly kind and efficient. The nurse, Michelle, was very knowledgeable, caring and good at getting through my nervousness. Today I was able to get a referral for physical therapy (starting this week)! And a prescription for a walker with an attached seat. This is so that I won't reinjure myself while healing. Dr. Ahluwalia is very good at including the entire treatment team in notes and correspondence. Several of my medications can cause dizziness, so we are going to try to lower doses slowly. This includes psychiatric meds from my Psychiatrist, Dr Zemanek. If you are looking for someone who listens and understands a great deal about medication interactions, this is a great place to go. I fell about seven times in the past two months. I am thrilled to be able to participate in physical therapy

I like going to this facility due to the friendliness of the staff and technician, and I have never had to wait for my appointment. I'm already scheduled for my mammogram for next year, which is a plus, so I don't forget to schedule. They have packets to remove deodorant prior to test, and packets of deodorant to put on after test. Great idea.

I was seen at first by a very rude , curt heavyset dark haired Latin lady who interrupted my explanation and didn't listen to my concerns about taking my BP . She asked if I wanted to take a test first and then see the medical assistant or the other way around either way she was very rude and unprofessional. The actual MA was nice but unfortunately the meds. Prescribed were ineffective.I wouldn't recommend this place at this point. And who the heck is Jefferson medical anyway? Another Philadelphia hospital group gobbling up LVHN?

I also appreciated that I did not feel rushed through the appointments as my concerns were addressed appropriately and thoroughly by Dr. Car. The LVHN Patient portal was helpful as well -if any additional questions I was able to get feedback there. If anything, getting a hold of the right person over the phone was a hassle at times, but it is to my knowledge that the office is busy and all practices are dealing with high volumes of patients so that is expected. Dr. Mozumdar was also helpful, as he took me in last minute on a day that I accidentally walked in a day early due to a scheduling error on the portal. Dr. Koshar is very friendly and I had one visit with him as well. The least I could do to thank the doctors and staff for their help was to write a positive review. So thank you all!

I am so happy with Dr…read more Paul as he was personable, focused, has attention to detail and asks the right questions to get to the root of the problem. The layout of the office is very clean with a modern touch. Just remember that the office is street level so parking street side would be better off if you were like me with excruciating pain. If you park in the assigned parking lot you will have to climb the stairs and go to the right. I had excruciating pain going down my right leg so, I admitted myself into Lehigh Valley emergency room. They ran blood tests, urinalysis and CAT scan and found nothing. Nor could they infer anything (young doctor I suppose). The next day I went to go see Dr. Paul and he was extremely thorough with what the root cause was but you have to tell him everything so that he can deduce the proper procedure to recovery. I had a strained muscle in my lumbar about three weeks before and did not think that was the root problem since it only took me a day to recover. But, it turned out it was! I can't recommend enough to try to persuade anyone that this is one of the best doctors out there. I know they are hard to find so, I am definitely sticking with Dr. Paul. Give him a try even if you have a current primary care physician. I guarantee you you will not be disappointed.
