I texted Emily to request for a female massage therapist and she was incredibly helpful and confirmed that I would have that. I booked via ClassPass so I was not able to choose who would be doing the massage upfront. On their site however you can choose! Emily also shared incredibly detailed instructions on how to enter the building and were to park. I wish I took photos of the establishment but you'll just have to take my word. It is absolutely beautiful and the set up is quite nice. They have spa water and normal water available. I felt very comfortable from the beginning my massage therapist shared how long she has been in the field and her background. She was about open communication which I very much appreciated! Highly recommend this location for your next massage!

ZERO STARS! WORST MASSAGE EVER! I found STL Massage on GROUPON. Unfortunately, you cannot write…read morereviews on Groupon or this could of probably been avoided. My therapist was Ken. First, the way this business makes appointments is through EMAIL ONLY! What a pain in the ass! It's a back-and-forth process. You email them your available times and dates then they email you back. It took seven emails before I had a time and a date set!!! Ridiculous! (Because of this, I knew I would never go back) Second, their web page is a bunch of information all bunched together. It's completely unorganized and almost impossible to navigate and comprehend. Third and foremost, IT WAS THE WORST MASSAGE IVE EVER HAD! EVER! I purchased a 90-minute Swedish massage. Ken hardly used any pressure whatsoever! I asked him three different times to apply more pressure during the massage. He would for about 30 seconds to a minute and then go back to what he was doing previously. He did not massage my neck, hands or feet!?!?!?! What kind of massage is that? I had a crick in my neck that I told him about when I got there. He didn't even touch it! When I asked about it, he simply said "I did the best I could." I am frustrated, disappointed and unsatisfied. Never again!!! Fourth, it was dirty! No aromatherapy, no rugs on the floor, a sheet placed on top of the vinyl padding that is it! Very unsanitary!!!

I was disappointed by a few things regarding my recent appointment for a custom facial and massage…read more The front desk staff, very friendly and accommodating, I even gave her a tip. The Locker room with the sauna etc closed at 7pm. I found that rather early and as a guest at the hotel on a business trip didn't have the opportunity to truly utilize it to unwind. Bummer. Now for the services. My masseuse was good enough, I enjoyed the aromatics and the massage itself was relaxing and that's what I needed. I could have used more time there than with the facial which was lacking. I expect excellence from the Ritz and that is where the moss came. I didn't hav a facial analysis. I received no information as to what was being used and what was being done. I got little information absent of the push to buy a product that I still can't tell the reason for. I left with whatever was the last product on my face peeling off which was unfortunate as I was quickly transitioning to an on-site dinner. I don't think it was a moisturizer. Things were out on my face and just removed, it felt like something I could have done in my room myself. I didn't get any massaging. Things stipulated in the description and it was the same cost as the massage and I have gotten much more for less at like facilities. I would not return except to utilize the sauna etc. Massage, maybe. Facial not at all. Thus. The 3 star which is a rounding of what might be a 2.8

I got hot stones and aromatherapy at no extra cost, it was absolutely perfect. The location was secure, convenient, with easy street parking and massage room was comfy. I loved that she had snacks and water for afterwards. Best hot stone massage I've ever had. Also, a really relaxing scalp massage at the end. I should also mention, the 90 minute massage was 90 (and she even gave me some helpful tips on relieving some of my recurring issues after the massage ended.) I'm so used to the big chains doing a 80 minute massage and charging for 90, but you get even more than what you pay for with Shaka. Can't wait to book again!
