Love the section near the front door which features paperback/hard cover books and audiobooks for sale, most of them less than 2 bucks! Bought Patricia Cromwell and Amy Tan novels and discovered an excellent copy of the Day of the Trifids audiobook. My father-in-law also bought some books of his favorite authors. The place is nice and cool in the summer (the central a/c was heavenly) and they have a roaring fire in the gas fireplace in the winter. They also have a bank of computers for internet surfing and an adorable kids library. This is easily my favorite place in Show Low!

The library has everything you might need to rent or borrow/checkout; CD's, DVD's, kitchen instrument's, meeting rooms, computers and of coarse books. I'm sure there are many things I don't know about but this is a staff friendly place to enjoy some quiet time at a library. The on-line system is very easy to use when reserving books.

But since I've gotten to know the staff and I come here frequently this library is okay. I can complain, but meh...wifi is free, computer lab time limit is two hours. They have VHS tapes (((HUH))). Ramona, the…read morelibrarian, and her usual cast of local characters are always happy to help you with everything from quilting tips to local information. The library offers free wi-fi, computer stations, printing, new dvd selections, book trade and stunning views of the meadow. It's very modern and relaxing. They have craft workshops sometimes and demonstrations in cool things. Thursday night is family movie night all Summer. Go say, "Hi!"

I said 'yep, Show Low said I could return them here' and she says 'oh that's fine I guess we will just have to work extra hard.' like what?!?lol isn't part of their job is to return movies to other locations if they offer that service? Hmmm...I really don't like feeling awkward and that's how she made me feel. Plus only 2 DVDs per person?
