I am a parent of a student attending the SJBS since 2019. I started him in their PreK and now his is enrolled for 2024-2025. I adore the overall atmosphere and enrichment that he receives from SJBS. His improvement and development has make him a more wholesome and self-confident child. I have noticed the differences in his demeanor verse kids that go to the public schools in my area (they are sweet kids too). He can deliver a speech in front of a church group with confidence and no pressure. He amazes himself on the accomplishments he has made each school year. For as long as we are able to, we plan to keep him at SJBS and (eventually) enroll his little brother into the school. read more

Everyone is a big family here. Teachers treat the students as their own. The older kids help and watch out for the younger ones. A faith based education that teaches morals and integrity. Everyone knows everyone. read more

St. John the Baptist Catholic School provides an excellent academic education. But what makes this school special and above all others is it's commitment to the students by the staff and faculty. The children are taught how to be good people with values and morals. The teachers put each and every students needs first. It's a family environment that helps the children achieve higher because they feel safe and secure. High quality faith based education!!!! Teaching children how to live a Christian Catholic life. Best place to send your child to set them up for the rest of their lives. read more

This Principal, Mrs. Robinson, is a very nice lady and will take ANY questions you may have about ANYTHING!!! Assistant Principal, Mr Hibler, is just O.K. He yells at children, which is why I gave the school three stars. I would say the classrooms are decent size, but could be bigger, especially when you have a bigger class. I'm not sure the yelling at children helps stop the child from doing bad things, but it may seem rude to parents, and may scare the children. I love the teachers my children have had. The children's teachers are: Kayla: K Miss Tessler, 1 Ms Fricke, 2 Miss Micklinghoff, 3 Mrs Hauck, 4 Ms Hare (Kolowaski) 5, Ms Sterbenz (now) Zoe: K Miss M, 1 Ms Erber, 2 Miss DeBlok, 3 Miss Hauck (now) Michael: K Miss M (now) So overall the teachers I have crossed paths with are nice and helpful. Would recommend except for the assistant principal!
