Problem was my nurse. She gave off the persona of a lost careless sloth, slow, no sense of urgency and w/o much interest to how well the job was performed nor idea of what she was really doing. Maybe she was new or was end of day & stopped caring. Regardless not okay + everything took multiple tries like my heart rate, blood pressure, and most importantly gluing the cut on my head, which is what I went in for and never got 100% fixed. After being glued up by the nurse, went into the car and realized I was still bleeding. Went back in for a touch up and by then the office was closing so I had to leave right away. When I went home I still had a section that wasn't glued up and all the blood ended up dripping out of that opening. Could have done better myself with some glue from the drug store while concussed. After resting for a day, my shin had began to hurt really from when I fell backwards down some steps stairs after my head impact. Went to a hospital to ensure no fractures, which they confirmed was just a bad bruise. Wish I had gotten everything done with one visit instead of having to go to the hospital less than 48 hours later and waste a bunch of $$$ and time. Think a few of their 5 star reviews are also fake. I did but go here because it was close to where I got injured & of the high rating on Yelp. They also have offices in Michigan where I'm from so thought if I needed to go back it would have been easier. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you need a script or something from the doctor and not any assistance from the nurse.

When I called to complain she apologized and told me sometimes the paperwork that we fill out about what we are allergic to does not get sent to the pharmacy. Mind you, the Dr. and pharmacy are in the same building! The first time i used them they put down I was Native American and non Hispanic. Both were wrong assumptions. Not a big deal, I thought. I just told the staff so they could get the hint to be more thorough in what they do. Looking at the paperwork they changed my Hispanic status but still says Im Native. Im not at all. I told them im Asian and Hispanic. Like I said the race thing I just chalked up to a mistake. He was my husbands pediatrician and has been our kids pediatrician for 16 years. I had an encounter today that was very out of the ordinary for that office, I've never met this woman before she works in the front at check out. She was so extremely rude and hateful, such a shame to have someone like that with that kind of attitude working for such an amazing man. I left today in tears, she was so hateful. I heard her talking about me behind the desk, I also heard her talking not so good about 2 parents that called in while I was there, someone called in about a child with a fever for a couple of days and she was asking if she should bring her kid in, when they hung up she pretty much called her dumb for not just bringing her in, they went on for about 30 seconds or so before one made eye contact and noticed I was listening. I was very upset not only to hear her say something about me but about the mom calling in. It makes me wonder what all is said not nice behind my back when I don't know whether to bring my kid in, I don't run to the doctor at the first sign of illness either, I let the body try and fight before running in. I did confront her I asked if she was giving me attitude because she was and she said yes because I'm rude, I didn't believe at all I was ever rude in that office I came out smiling from seeing Dr.D and bam! Encounter noting but gloom and hateful attitude. She was talking crap to me in front of other people in the waiting room. I've worked for surgeons before I know if I would of spoke to someone like that I wouldn't have a job. I even told her she was hurting my feelings. We will not be coming back. I know it's just 1 person out of thousands so losing one isn't anything to your pocket book, but we considered Dr. D like family. I'm heartbroken to have to leave this office but he's retiring soon so might as well transition now. I was a professional relations coordinator in my last position and I actually trained offices on customer relations, I can tell you right now! That woman needs that training!!! Dr. d we love you! Wish you nothing but the best! I will always always remember you, always singing, joking with my kids you always made them feel at ease. You took such good care of my kids I will forever be grateful for that. I've never met another doc like you!!! Please know you impacted our lives so much in such an amazing way. You will be missed when you retire like you have no ideal. I couldn't give you less than 5 stars because of 1 hateful employee. Sadly Abby left a few months back, but we'll see how the new assistant lady (I forget her name) turns out.

I was told that since I am a new patient, I had to arrive 1 hour early, but I was never told this and received a text message to check in early for the appointment; there was nothing stated in the text that I needed to arrive an hour early. This man is very rude and inconsiderate. He feels his time is more valuable than mine. I lost over an hour of my time dealing with this nonsense. I do not recommend this man; his behavior is unacceptable.

Very nice doctor who explains everything and waits for questions. He did the surgery needed on my…read morehand. Post op, things have gone well. Sutures out today and have to go back in 3 weeks to make sure things are still going well. He offered to fix my carpel tunnel at the same time as this surgery, but I wasn't up to that much rehab. He had recommended a carpel tunnel splint 20 years ago and that has worked so well, I have not been willing to have surgery. I would definitely trust him to the carpel tunnel repair, if I get to that point.
